✨ A wedding weekend for Jenny & Angus ✨
What a magical few days — three days, three completely different looks, all beautifully styled by the amazing Katie and her team 💫
Friday: elegant monochrome and gold for the guests’ arrival dinner, served in the main house dining room.
Saturday: a walled garden ceremony beneath the stretch tent, followed by canapés of Marinated tofu, kohlrabi, miso mayo, enoki mushroom & wonton crisp /
Korean fried cauliflower, Siracha mayo, spring onions, black sesame /
Vietnamese Chicken salad, wonton cup /
Squid ink arancini, saffron aioli, prawn, red pepper & chorizo salsa / Aperols and Pimm’s on the lawn.
Guests then moved to the main barn for a spectacular banquet — vibrant colours, gold bead chains, and sharing mains (no pics again! but guests shared these highlights 👇).
Hot smoked trout, beetroot quails’ eggs, heritage beets, dill & lemon aioli
Heritage tomato tart Tatin, aged balsamic, caper berries, wild rocket dips and freshly baked bread.
Butterfly herbed chicken, confit garlic aioli, Italian artichoke, summer vegetables &
caper salsa
Giant couscous, Mediterranean vegetables, pine nuts & fresh herbs
Rosemary roast potatoes, truffle oil, parmesan
Roast root vegetables, aged balsamic & toasted seeds
Then it was back out to the garden for cocktail hour while we flipped the dining room ready for dancing and dirty fries — and the after party in the venue’s own basement club (yes, a club in the cellar!).
Sunday: hangovers cured with brunch platters and Bloody Marys, flags and all, thanks to the Style & Wonder crew — before retreating to the pool for a party and burgers 🍔☀️
What a weekend, what a way to celebrate. So happy to have been part of it — huge thanks to Katie and her incredible team, and to my own amazing crew. I get to work with my friends all weekend… what a job ! Love and endless happiness to the beautiful couple ❤️
