A FOND FAREWELL!! 🌸🌼 👋🏼
This is a post I have been putting off for a while! 😢
With very mixed emotions I have now closed my florist business & shop.
Courtyard Flowers has been half of Nook & Cranny for the last 5 years & I’ve had my flower business in one form or another prior to that for 15 years in total. My personal circumstances have now changed & it’s been a difficult decision but for logistical reasons I have decided to bring it to a close.
Over this period of time I have met so many wonderful people, had lovely loyal customers & made amazing & special friends, so I consider myself very privileged & it’s been a very happy way to work & spend my time. I will miss it greatly! 😢
Thankfully I’m not stopping working with flowers all together 🙏, I’m currently working at the wonderful Organic Blooms flower farm in Latteridge 🌸. They grow the most beautiful British flowers organically & sustainably so I am so pleased to be doing some work for them. 💐
The pretty flowers in the meadow box in the
photo below I cut at the farm and used them for a recent wedding 👰 🌼
I’m secretly hoping I’ll still get asked to do wedding flowers for family & friends (& anyone else who asks!)🤞🏼as I love making beautiful creations for special occasions! ☺️
Also I’m hoping to continue some floral inspired workshops & Christmas wreath making so I’ll still keep my finger in that floral pie !🥧 🌸
So watch this space !! 👀
I want to thank each & every customer who has bought flowers from me over the years & visited the shop, I am truly grateful 🙏
I’d also like to wish my very close & gorgeous friend & colleague Lou Vigars of The Nook Interiors, the very best with her continued interior design business & fun creative workshops. She has an amazing creative talent & is a true friend & im so appreciative of all her support over the time we’ve been working together as partners , we’ve had so much fun & laughter along the way! 🤠
Best wishes & Toodaloo to you all! 👋🏼
