Our core purpose is: ‘to provide fun and memorable events that unify people’, and we’re proud to have been doing exactly that for over 30 years! ACF Events owns and maintains a huge amount of event equipment, including fun fair stalls, shooting activities and the very popular 'It’s A Knockout' inflatables. Events can take place at sites throughout the country including our home site in Bristol, as well as the many other partner venues we have in Bristol, Devon and South Wales. ACF Events is fully mobile which enables us to operate from any suitable location whether it’s a corporate summer party, an indoor conference energiser or a wellbeing event. All of our events are fully coordinated with £5 million public liability insurance.

🔍🕵️ We work with lots of venues to help their clients with team building and entertainment requests, but every now and then, we get the opportunity to put on an event for the venue teams themselves too!

Recently, the wonderful team from De Vere Tortworth Court gathered at the fantastic DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House for their meeting, where they took part in our CSI-style investigation challenge. 🧩🔎

🐐🧘‍♀️ GOAT YOGA 🧘‍♂️🐐
Yoga… but with goats. Yes, really. 😂

We recently held a Goat Yoga session for some clients as part of a multi activity day at Hartham Park , where it provided the perfect relaxation session (with plenty of laughs along the way!)

So what is Goat Yoga?

Goat Yoga combines gentle yoga with friendly, free-roaming goats who wander around participants during the session. They might:
🐐 Climb onto your back
🐐 Cuddle up beside you
🐐 Wander around being adorable
🐐 Unexpectedly steal the spotlight!

The whole idea is to create a relaxed, playful atmosphere rather than a super serious yoga class.

🐐 Some Goat Yoga Facts:

• Goat Yoga became popular in the US around 2015 before spreading worldwide 🌍

• Goats naturally enjoy elevated surfaces, which is why they sometimes climb onto participants during poses 😂

• No two classes are ever the same because the goats all have individual personalities and decide how involved they want to be!

• It’s completely beginner friendly. Most people come for the experience, laughter, and relaxation rather than advanced yoga 🧘

• Sessions are usually held outdoors to create a calming, nature focused experience 🌿

💚 Animal welfare is always a priority: The goats are never forced to interact and are free to roam, rest, and play throughout the session.

We’re excited to be partnering with the Bristol Aztecs American Football team this season 🏈

Our ACF Events team will be supporting match days at Park, helping deliver a smooth and safe experience for everyone attending. From security and parking, to arrival ticketing and crowd management.

American Football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK right now, and the Bristol Aztecs are a huge part of that momentum, putting in some fantastic performances this season! 💪

How much can you pack into a corporate fun day? 👀

Quite a lot, as it turns out….

From high energy team challenges and head-to-head competitions, to non-stop laughter (literally - we have a workshop for that), chilled out sessions and trying new things - this day at Enterprises had it all 💥

We had multiple zones, and a Compère keeping the energy high, with teams fully committing to the It's a Knockout challenge from the start.

And the best part? It’s not just about the fun (although there’s plenty of that)… it’s about bringing people together, building connections and creating shared experiences that actually last beyond the day.

Record breakers at the stunning

Last Thursday we were at the beautiful venue that is Rockbeare Manor, where these fab clients got stuck into our Record Breakers team building event… and safe to say, the competition was ON 👀

We set up four challenge zones, with teams going head-to-head throughout the day, all led by our brilliant Compère who kept the energy high with bonus games and a warm-up to get everyone fired up 💪

Here’s what they tackled…
🏌️ Zone 1: Golf & Putting Challenges
🎾 Zone 2: Tennis Skills & Drills
⛷️ Zone 3: ‘Snow Zone’ – spot the skis! (sadly no real snow… maybe next time!)
⭕ Zone 4: All things Hoops – coordination, speed and a lot of laughs

Set against the stunning backdrop of Devon countryside, Rockbeare Manor was the perfect setting for a day of teamwork and freindly rivarly.

An event with a touch of Bridgerton elegance…

Last week we joined Events to put on activities for a Jane Austen Style Celebration at the beautiful Lodge ✨(our instructors even got dressed up too!)

Guests stepped back in time and enjoyed a selection of classic outside activities, including:

🦅 Falconry demonstrations (perfect for a grand country estate)
🏹 Archery, an opportunity to show off some skill and a steady hand.
🎾 Garden Games scattered across the lawns:
• Badminton
• Croquet
• Giant Chess
• Boules
• Quoits
• Mini Tennis

It was the kind of afternoon Jane Austen herself would have delighted in! Elegant, playful, and full of charm.

Night of The Stars 2026! 🤩

We were delighted to attend the annual Bristol Hoteliers Association 💫 Night of The Stars awards evening on Thursday last week.

We were especially proud to sponsor the 'Team of the Year' award. A category that is very fitting for us, Celebrating collaboration, resilience, and excellence in teams.

The standard of nominations was incredibly high, but congratulations went to the Kitchen Team from Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel who took home the award. Our judge praised the team for their “complete collaboration in achieving a shared goal, rising to challenges and successfully managing change.” 😀🍽️

A big well done as well to the HR Team from DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol City Centre who were deserving runners up.

As always, Ashton Gate Stadium proved to be an outstanding venue for the evening, and the pitchside photo opportunity on arrival was a fantastic touch! 👌

👏 Congratulations to all nominees and winners and to Bristol Hoteliers Association for putting on another inspiring evening!
