Friends and family launch is complete ✔️ huge thanks to everyone who joined us on Thursday. We're now open Mon-Fri from 8am and Saturdays from 9am - except for this bank holiday Monday.

Thats right folks! We are (very nearly) officially back! After temporarily closing our venue at the Coach House last August due to building refurb, we had been a bit unsure of what lied ahead for Jikoni.

But by sheir chance of fate, The Old Fire Station on Silver St became available this year and we are incredibly lucky to have been given the opportunity to trade there!! 🥳🥳

Such a fantastic venue with so much going for it.. we are beyond excited and can't wait to get going! Doors to open officially August 22nd for breakfast & lunch. Expect a much larger menu with plenty of Jikoni classics plus an array of new dishes, cakes, pastries & good times!!

Big thanks to for giving us the keys! And to , .beer & for hosting the pops ups that kept us going inbetween!!

Looking forward seeing you all down there very soon!

That's right, we are very sad to say it's our last week 😢 We've had such a blast with these guys but alas it is time..

Catch us here until Saturday for more Afro thali's & Tacos plus a pint on the house with any main this evening!! before we make way for the pipe's next run of kitchen pop ups, to be announced very soon!

Plus, we have a new exciting venue announcement coming soon ourselves!! Keep you eyes peeled for your next Jikoni installment.. we promise you it's a good one! 🤩🤩

We are open and ready at our pop up for all you lovely and very hungry people!!

Soak the sun on the terrace with one of our Afro - thalis or tacos. Also doing takeaways for collection folks! This could all be yours this evening 😅

That's right, it's been some time, but we're finally headed home to Stokes Croft!! And what return we've got lined up.. Starting tmrw , get your chops around our new Afro - Thali menu!

And to top it off, we're offering a pint on the house with any main meal courtesy of !! 🥳🥳 available wed/thursday this week, and Tuesday/Wednesday from then on. What a deal!

Whether you're tottering down or tottering up, just make sure you totter along to .beer taproom (Totterdown) on Friday 21st or Saturday 22nd for our first pop up of 2025!!

Fantastic new dishes on the menu.. this Somali style braised brisket is such a treat on a winters night. Infused with cinnamon, cardomon, black lime and green chilli, it packs a real flavour bomb!

Anyone who's missed us at The Coach House (still closed, I'm afraid) can catch us here with a full bar of Bruhaha specialities on top. Serving from 5:30!

We had a blast in 2024! Here's a look back at the roller coaster of a year. We shared our wares with lots of lovely new faces and fun along the way!

With a massive thankyou to all that came to the restaurant, events & workshops we put on and to everyone at the weddings, hen parties, birthday parties, staff parties and coporate events we catered for! We couldn't do it without you ❤️
