It is with the deepest sadness in our hearts, that we bring you the devastating news that our beloved teacher and dear friend, Miss Malika, has suddenly and tragically passed away.
Malika was such an important and cherished part of our BSPA family. To know her was to love her. Her laugh, smile, kindness, energy, unfiltered honesty and her beautifully theatrical spirit was infectious. She had an extraordinary way of lighting up every room usually with a coffee in hand!
She poured so much love into our children and our school, and we're all the better for having had her in our lives.
We were so lucky to call her not just a colleague, but a true friend. An amazing, hilarious, fiercely loyal, theatrically French friend, the kind you only meet once in a lifetime. Whether she was singing at full volume in the corridor, making us all cups of tea or sorting props, she did it all with her own unique magic.
We will be sure to find a way to honour her, and knowing Malika, it will involve music, laughter and probably some wine - she would insist on it! But for now, please hold her family, especially her beautiful daughter Coco close in your hearts. And when you think of her, smile. Because that's what she gave so freely to everyone around her, joy.
