‘I’m a DJ that does weddings, not a wedding DJ’

There is always so much stigma around doing weddings as a DJ but trust me, they don’t need to be cheesy, playing the same old ‘Sweet Caroline’ (which makes me shudder) or by any means an old fashioned night.

I love to bring new remixes, my own dance music flavour whilst always keeping the couples requests in mind.

Last nights party was a belter from start to finish with old and young throwing all sorts of shapes on the dancefloor at one of my fave venues Higher Eggbeer which always seems to attract an elite party crowd.

Last night I worked as a backing singer for my fabulous friend Aurora Engine who smashed it with her originals Sidmouth Fringe Sessions (which had been running 18 years!)
Tent rehearsals, 2am drinking Prosecco around the camp fire and got blown to pieces by the tent in the night but what an amazing reunion!
Top band was also Land of the Giants and even met Dr Karl Kennedy from neighbours 😂

It’s been one incredible start to the day playing for a very special ladies 50th in stunning surroundings in Saint Laurent de Cerdans in the South of France. 🇫🇷

Can’t wait for tonight’s sunset session 🌅 feeling very lucky with these opportunities that keep coming my way ❤️

A trip down Jodie lane of what I’ve been up to for the last 25 years! (PART 1)

Can’t make it all fit into 20 photos but here is part 1 which starts from me being 15 all the way up to 27 years old before I started my China adventures which kept me there 5 years!

I have to say I have no regrets about any of my contracts, trips abroad and choices I’ve made over the years. Some have been incredible! Some have been a disaster… but they have been one amazing learning and experience curve along the way.

So many memories and so many friends made and still kept in touch with from this showbiz life I’ve been so lucky to have worked in all my life (apart from those weird covid times)
