Kelvin Players is a vibrant, welcoming community of non-professional creatives, producing six productions each year.

Kelvin Players Theatre Company perform high-quality theatrical productions, mainly from our Gloucester Road studio in Bristol. Producing five full stage productions a year, staging rehearsed reading evenings, promoting new writing talent, and being home to various other events and groups, we have developed a reputation as one of Bristol and the South West's leading non-professional performance gro

ups. We are a registered charity (no. 294367), a member of the Little Theatre Guild of Great Britain and affiliated to the Avon Association of Drama.

When it begins raining in the Woodland, the Rabbit shuts themself away in their warren and refuses to come outside. The Rain feels bad – it feels like all of their worst thoughts and feelings. 🐰☔

The Rabbit & The Rain is as much for adults as it is for children – we recommend age 6 and above, but this is at parents’ discretion. There’s no bad language, violence, or adult themes.

Please allow extra time to get to tonight’s performance of Brassed Off, as there is a cricket game on at the grounds near our theatre. This means that the area is very busy and parking is extremely scarce. We encourage you to avoiding driving if you can – maybe take a leaf out of Danny’s book and get on your bike! 🚲 The show starts at 7:30pm, don’t be late!

Brassed Off opened last night to uproarious success! Congratulations to all involved on a fantastic production.

As this run is fully sold out, we would like to remind audiences that there will be no tickets available on the door for this production – please do not turn up at the theatre unless you have purchased a ticket in advance.

We understand it's disappointing to miss out on tickets, which is why we always encourage you to book early. There is a waiting list function available on Ticketsource. If you would like to be notified of any returned tickets, please join this list.

Please note especially that as per policy, we are unable to resell seats in the event of no-shows and we also can't "just squeeze in another seat", so please don't ask the front of house team to make exceptions. The answer will be no!
