A circle of birth, new beginnings, love, joy, and celebration .
I love the round and round of life and death, death, and life. I find it fascinating. Like where does the concept of life and death come from.
When I was younger, I'd think what if this is death.
I'd think should I be dead.
What is living, and what is life?
I was up my arse wasn't I?! Still am.

I guess flowers help me represent all that stuff without too many words. Ha ha ha. You got to be kidding

Morning, yep, it's still Morning I had to look.

I can't really keep my posts short. I think it's something about me. I try. I'm sorry to those who just want to see the flowers. I guess you can choose.
Flowers are my medium for communication. They help me break down and process my thoughts. Otherwise they are going toooo fast.
So yeah. I don't think I'll change how I do this social media thing. I guess some people might stop following. Of course, I hope not, but I encourage people to be who and what they are. I don't want to be a hypocrite.

Flowers are so tasty. I love that their energy flows through my veins. Electric.
In here, we have some Scabiosa... not the best name but may be linked to cure and ease itchy things that affect the skin.
Its symbolism is love, purity, peace, and new beginnings.
The darker in colour versions are sometimes linked to sorrow. Sorrow isn't bad, though. It's a feeling that needs acknowledging, too. Its common name is pincushion flower. If you look in the centre you'll see why.
And then let's pick thilaspi, or more commonly known as field pennycress. That's the fine looking foliage at the back. I love it.
The way it threads through bunches or surrounds them.
Medicinally, it was helping with heavy periods, inflammation, mood, digestion, and urine stuff. All pretty important stuff.
Its symbolism is simplicity and humility, another reason i absolutely love it. And it does as it threads through it adds humility.

A long un... just look at the photo, and order fathers day flowers (that's for those who don't give two hoots for my rambles).

The heat is on! A bouquet that went out on one of the regular subscriptions runs today. We have the pleasure of making and delivering a lot of regular flower posies. It helps keep us going when other things are a bit quieter. Bread and butter. But it is also one of the biggest joys. I love the flower journey we go on. The connection through flowers. The love. I am so very grateful.

This year, so far, i feel like I have spent the constant time trying to focus on what I'm doing whilst keeping my eyes open so I can see what's going on.
I don't like to fight. I like to love. But it feels like I do have to fight a little for all we have built. At least stand our ground. Not be pulled down. Take things with a kind of grace. S**t it's hard. There is a surrounding of floral treats. It's just hard to see how we all survive. People don't have much money.

Usually, about now, I start to talk about Father's Day, or those who have been like fathers to us .
It can be an icky, sticky time as well as being joyous. I don't really like days for things, but we have them, so celebrate the fathers.
And remember, that all year round we are there for those times things feel more difficult than usual. The floriography space is for you, too.

When you are asked to recreate a wedding bunch for an anniversary.
Although this is a very soft and fluffy colour and texture combination, it still feels bold and certain to me. There is something about the layers. The structure of the lisianthus and the Veronica create strength. Flowers can be strong and vulnerable.
Like people flowers can be lots of things at the same time.
I think they help us to understand that people might need you to think a little deeper.

Oh, how I love the rain when it's been so dry. The flowers need it so, to grow. We are so lucky to have no extreme seasons. To have access to water. I always think that no matter what we do , until everyone has clean water, no peace will come, people won't start caring for the environment, those who attempt it won't achieve as they should, and some people will not care for each other as they should. If we can't love each other, why would we look after anything else. Doesn't it all stem from that. I think so.

Blah blah blah. I should just go here are some flowers, I love the red velvet peonies.
