Easy everyone, let’s get weird.
Tomorrow night on Points West I’m having a real good rummage into all the weird, experimental, and frankly quite mental sounding music that’s hidden in the depths of my memory sticks. It’s a challenge getting a handful of these tracks in every now and again let alone making a full fu***ng show with them, but if you ask me I’ve done a sterling job, and one that’s deserving of you sitting down, slapping some headphones on (for best results) and having a good old listen to the show. I’m taking things at a slower pace on tomorrow with the first in a few instalments of shows where I go a bit deeper into some different themes. This months show is all about the goodness that lives at sub-100bpm.

Going in with the high fashion to announce some changes to my show on 1020. 🐊

Over the last few months of shows I’ve been trying to jam in as much new music as possible, which has been real good fun, but it’s meant I’ve been rattling through styles and tempos and not getting deep into my frankly bloated collection and exploring different themes. So over the next few months I’m going to dedicate each show to a different theme and have a good old dig into each.

The first one will be dedicated to the low and slow, like brisket for your ear holes. There’s so much quality sub 100bpm stuff out there that you might never hear unless you’re turning up to a club when doors open, so I wanna showcase some of my favourite low down bits. Make sure you lock into from 11pm on September 1st to hear it!
