1 STAGE 4 DECADES

Warmley Players Summer Show 2026 is done, but the sparkles and memories will be with us a lifetime!
Thank you so much to our wonderful audiences, last night gave us a standing ovation! Without your support and encouragement we wouldn't be the group we are today - we've had an absolute blast singing songs from the past!

Our cast and crew are going to take a well deserved break now, and we will start up again in September to get ready for the much anticipated 60th Pantomime in January 2027!!

Reminder that you are very welcome to bring hand fans to combat this relentless heat. We will have soft drinks and ice creams available in the interval with allergen lists available to check, and the bar is open from 18:30 until the end of the show! We do ask that you don't bring your own alcohol onto the premises due to licensing, but do please bring your dancing feet (or if that feels too much, your tapping gently along to the beat feet) as we believe the more the merrier when it comes to music!

It's opening night tonight!

It's almost Friday! Which means it's almost Summer Show ' 1 stage 4 decades'!! We are so excited. Our stage is being set tonight, tomorrow will be our final rehearsal alongside sound and light checks and we still have a few tickets left!! This is almost unheard of for our Summer Show, so if you've always wanted to come along and never had chance, now is the moment to book at

The evening will involve our covers of hits from the 70's, the 80's, the 90's and the 00's, and if you want to get up out of your chair and have a little dance, you won't hear a complaint from us!! Honestly, what could you be doing this Friday or Saturday that would be better?!

Less than a week to go now! If you're waiting until last minute to order tickets for a little adrenaline rush, don't!! It stresses us out as there are not many left now, and we don't want people missing out!! We've already checked, England aren't playing during our shows (otherwise the band and half the cast would be missing onstage), so get out the house and come and boogie along with us 🎤 🎸 🎼

🌟 WANTED: The Next Generation of Warmley Players 🌟
Are you aged 9–15 with a passion for performing? Do you love to sing, dance, and bring energy to the stage? We want YOU!
Our well-established amateur dramatics group is gearing up for a massive milestone: our 60th annual pantomime! 🥳 This January, we are bringing the magic of Snow White to life, and we have 4 spots open in our chorus for enthusiastic and confident young performers to join our theatre family. We rehearse on a thursday evening 7.30-9.30 these times are longer leading up to a show.
🎭 What we're looking for:
• Age: 9 to 15 years old.
• Vibe: Enthusiastic, confident, and a genuine love for drama!
• Skills: Ready to sing in a big group, learn some fun and easy dance routines, and potentially take on a small speaking role.
⚠️ No experience? No problem! We pride ourselves on being a supportive, welcoming group. Whether this is your first time on stage or you're a seasoned performer, we want to hear from you. (If you do have previous group experience, feel free to share it with us!)
🧑‍👦 A Quick Note for Parents:
To ensure everyone's safety and smooth running of rehearsals, children can only be dropped off and left with the group once they have finished primary school (secondary school age). For younger children still in primary school, a parent or guardian will need to stay with them during rehearsals.

NEXT WEEK!

OUR SUMMER SHOW '1 STAGE 4 DECADES' IS NEXT WEEK!!!

and a little birdy tells us some people are going to come.... But haven't yet bought their tickets 😱

Its a couple of days before the summer show.... You sit down at home with a nice cold drink and open up our site to finally order your tickets. Well, that heatwave may have shutdown schools, but it didn't stop us!! Armed with multiple fans and water breaks we powered through last Thursday's rehearsal, so we can give you the best of the best at the summer show!

🎭 Could you be the missing piece of our next productions? 🎭

We're looking for new members to join our fantastic drama group as we prepare for our annual panto!

And this one is a special one as its our 60th pantomime! We will be performing "Snow White" in January 2027.

Rehearsals are every Thursday from September.

We especially need chorus members. Adults members only. The chorus is the heart of every show – bringing energy, comedy, music and life to the stage. It's also a brilliant way to build confidence, make new friends and become part of our theatre family. Many chorus members will also have the opportunity to perform small speaking roles, making it the perfect way to get involved.

No experience? No problem! If you love to laugh, enjoy performing, or have always fancied giving amateur theatre a go, we'd love to welcome you.

Every great show needs a strong chorus, and we'd love you to be part of ours. Come along and see what we're all about – you might just find your new favourite hobby!
