Introducing and her beautifully bold and intricate, nature-inspired paintings.
An emotive painter, layers of intuitive shapes, varied expressive brushwork and striking colour palettes are built within her canvases.
The viewer is immersed into stunning kaleidoscopic visions of imagination, bursting with butterflies, birds and flora. Capturing the vibrancy of life and the bustling, yet calming effects of nature.
Also emerging through her vivid colourscapes are really beautiful, earthly organic shapes, reflective of the intricate and raw elements of human feeling and being.
Mother Earth, with all of it's stirring creatures inspires much of Lizzie's works.
Find her original paintings and prints in St.Michael's & all angels church all weekend from 11-5pm.

We're all getting excited and prepared for the trail now, and looking forward to seeing our artists and their works, the many performances, trying delicious foods, fun workshops and meeting the wonderful Windmill community and beyond, this weekend! 💓🎨✨

✨ Artist Spotlight - Craig Easton & Lottie Davies ✨
This year we’re honoured to have and who will be opening their working space to visitors, an award-winning photographer and writer, together they’ll be showing finished pieces alongside work-in-progress, with boxes, prints and ideas scattered across the walls…a real glimpse into the creative process.
Craig is an internationally renowned photographer, winner of the SONY World Photography Awards’ Photographer of the Year and the Arnold Newman Prize for Portraiture in the USA. His long-term documentary projects explore the threads between contemporary experience and history. His latest book is a lyrical look at George Orwell’s time at Barnhill, the remote farmhouse on Jura where he wrote Nineteen Eighty-Four.
Lottie is a multi-award-winning photographer and writer whose work delves into the stories and myths we use to make sense of our lives. She won the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery for Memories and Nightmares, and is the author of the acclaimed book Quinn.
I particularly love the apples on the table photograph…There’s something deeply nostalgic about it…it takes me straight back to my great-grandmother’s kitchen table. The pared-back simplicity, the light, the quiet domesticity of two apples on a plate…it feels both ordinary and timeless, like a memory you can almost step into. It’s a reminder of how stillness and detail can carry whole worlds of feeling. Definitely a venue to visit… Have a wonderful day 💚 from 💚

✨ Artist Spotlight: Killer Bunny Creative ✨

I’m so excited to introduce Killer Bunny Creative, the imaginative world of Bristol-born artist Vergil. After years of being involved in both online and in-person art spaces, Vergil realised that following the crowd never quite felt fulfilling… I think that’s a good call…With Killer Bunny Creative, they chose a different path …one where they simply create whatever sparks joy, whatever feels strange, unusual, and most importantly, true to themselves.
Their work is playful, bold, and wonderfully offbeat …made for anyone, but especially for those of us who love the quirky, the unexpected, and the delightfully weird. Growing up in Bristol’s vibrant creative scene gave Vergil a deep appreciation for self-expression, and you can see that spirit shine through in every piece.
Personally, I felt like their art took me on a kind of modernised Alice in Wonderland–style journey…vivid, colourful, and completely absorbing. It’s a joy to step into their world and get swept away by the imagination behind it. This will be their very first time showcasing the full variety of their work, and I can’t wait for you to see it during the Art on the Hill trail, 4th–5th October. Trust me, you won’t want to miss the energy, humour, and sheer creativity Killer Bunny Creative brings to the trail! Wishing you all a sunny day 💚 from 💚

✨ Artist Spotlight ✨

There’s something quietly powerful about work.
His pieces feel deeply reflective … when I was studying them, they slowed me down, drew me in, and created a calm, meditative space. The way he captures atmosphere, whether in quick plein air sketches or more developed drawings, seems to hold both the mood of the place and the inner weather of perhaps the artist himself.

Looking at these studies, I’m struck by how the light, shadow, and texture feel less like “recording” a scene and more like listening or feeling it. They invite you to pause, breathe, and rest your eye in the details. Every mark seems to balance restraint and depth, giving the work a timeless, contemplative quality.
You can see his beautiful work in person at Art on the Hill, 4th & 5th October. 🎨✨

✨ Artist Spotlight ✨

We’re so excited to welcome screen printer and multidisciplinary artist to this year’s Art on the Hill art trail (4th & 5th October)!

Tomas takes inspiration from the bold colours and geometric shapes of the 1980s, creating playful, vibrant works that instantly lift the mood. His practice spans prints, ceramics, and textiles, all rooted in sustainability…using eco-friendly materials and repurposed objects wherever possible.

I really admire the clean lines, bold forms, and striking colour contrasts in his work…they feel both nostalgic and refreshingly contemporary. Check out the classy navy tote bag which in particular caught my eye…it’s such a clever balance of playful shapes and strong design. There’s a joy and energy in his art that feels contagious.

Come and see his work in person at the trail…you’ll leave smiling. 💛 Have a sunny, happy day from 💚

✨ Artist Spotlight ✨

Beth aka is an illustrator and painter whose work is inspired by the beauty of British flora and fauna. She loves exploring plants and animals through drawing and painting, using a variety of media to bring her subjects to life.

Alongside her own practice, you can also find Beth at .art_lab.__ with and , where she runs creative sessions for 6–11 year olds. Together they explore artists, techniques, and materials … and most importantly, have lots of fun! 🎨
I’m especially in love with Beth’s hand-painted hanging decorations…they make the perfect Christmas gifts or tree ornaments. Her work has such vibrancy, it makes me want to get outside, notice the beauty around me and sketch all the little details of nature.
And let’s be honest…these may be called “doodles,” but what high-level doodles they are! ✨🐿️ Not to be missed this 4th/5th October on the Art on the Hill trail. Have a wonderful day 💚 from

🌟 Artist Spotlight 🌟

retired a couple of years ago and is now a full-time artist, working across pottery, painting, and drawing. His creative process is wonderfully intuitive…when working with clay, he often begins without a set plan, letting the material itself guide the form until it naturally evolves into a finished piece. The colours and textures of the harbour, especially the early morning sun on the water, inspire much of his glazing. More recently, Tony has been exploring clay hand-building, combining it with his life drawing skills to create expressive sculptures.
When it comes to painting, Tony works from his own photography and sketches. His landscapes often begin en plein air and are developed back in the studio, while his life paintings evolve from unusual and inspiring images he finds on social media. For Tony, life drawing is at the heart of everything…it’s the foundation for proportion, perspective, and depth in all his work.
This landscape painting (pictured here) is such a beautiful example of his style…the long shadows and glowing greens feel alive with movement and light. You can almost feel the crispness of the air and the warmth of the sun. 🌿☀️
Tony’s work is full of light, texture, and life…whether in clay or on canvas…and it’s absolutely worth seeing in person to appreciate the depth and detail. ✨Find Tony on 4th/5th October on the Art on the Hill fabulous art trail… have a great day 💚 from 💚

✨ Meet the fabulous Kelly 🌟

is a true sustainability heroine, turning discarded fabrics, clothing, and yarn into beautiful handmade creations. After learning how much fast fashion waste ends up in landfill every single day, she decided to take action…giving old materials a second life and creating something both useful and gorgeous in the process.
Her best-sellers are her unique bags …each one stitched with care and bursting with character. From bold and quirky prints (spot the Pokémon, Beatles and Hello Kitty designs!) to timeless patchwork styles, no two are ever the same. Alongside her bags, you’ll also find crocheted hats, scrunchies, hairbands, and even decorations made from the tiniest scraps…proof that nothing has to go to waste.
I’ve already got my eye on her crocheted dishcloths 🧽 (so practical and eco-friendly – and at 3 for £10, perfect for me AND as Christmas gifts 🎁). Honestly, her whole stall is a treasure trove of thoughtful, sustainable ideas that make it easy to shop with the planet in mind.
Come and see Kelly’s stunning work at the Art on the Hill trail on 4th & 5th October. Trust me, you’ll leave inspired …and probably with a bag (or three) in hand! 🌿👜 Have a great day💚 from
