The Showroom Projects

A six month programme of performance and talks about the future of our city produced by The Showroom Projects in collaboration with Residence, Knowle West Media Centre, Place, In Between Time, MAYK and You and Your Work. All events will take place at The Parlour Showrooms on a monthly basis. Each event will be co-produced with a different partner each month, and will consist of a performance and a

talk. At The Parlour Showrooms - The Parlour Showrooms are two empty shops on College Green, Bristol. Produced by The Showrooms Projects - The Showroom Projects are a new producing company with a shared comittment to producing events, supporting new work and utilising our centrally located site. In Collaboration with Residence, Knowle West Media Centre, PLaCE, In Between Time, MAYK, University of Bristol and You And Your Work. Funded by Arts Council England and IdeasTap. Why In The City Series now? Bristol is a city of extraordinary festivals, but where is the regular platform for experimental performance? The Showroom Projects would like to offer; a regular platform for excellent performance, and a meeting place from which we will re-imagine the city.
