VALLEY FEST… WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK !!!
That one is WELL AND TRULY locked in the memory bank 🔐
5 days. 14-hour shifts. Next to no sleep. Bruised, swollen feet, Heatstroke, Running purely on vibes, adrenaline and questionable life choices 😂
Honestly felt like I’d been sent to war and somehow came back wanting MORE.
My first ever festival job and WHAT. AN. EXPERIENCE.
I spent most of the weekend running around like an absolute LOONATIC 😂 sorting artists, stages, putting out fires (not actual ones thankfully), solving problems I didn’t even know existed and generally appearing in all places at once…
BUT SOMEHOW THE MAC STILL FOUND TIME FOR A TOE TAP 💃🏼😂
Friday night — me and the bestie only went and CLOSED THE BLOODY MAIN STAGE alongside the ridiculously talented Johnnie Darko 🤯
Saturday — opened up the iconic Save Our Scene truck 🔥
ANDDDD squeezed in a set on H & I’s very own creation… PARADISO 🪩
Now that one hit different 🤍
Watching Paradiso come ALIVE after everything that went into making it happen was honestly one of my favourite moments of the whole weekend.
Big BIG love to every single artist that came through and absolutely sent it. The talent pouring out of that bar was ridiculous 🔊
And Subalicious Sound… YOU LOT 🤝🤍
That sound system was an absolute WEAPON. Thank you for being bloody legends from start to finish. SOLID CREW.
But beyond the music, the madness and the 700 miles I probably clocked up running around that field 😂… I met some genuinely incredible humans this weekend.
People I’ll remember for a very long time. Artists I never thought I’d get the chance to meet. Moments that made all the stress, sweat and swollen feet completely worth it.
I arrived at Valley Fest not really knowing what my first festival job was going to throw at me…
I left absolutely FECKED 😂, slightly emotional, ridiculously proud and with a massive smile on my face.
Would I do it again?
