One of the murals created during UPFEST this year highlight’s an important issue affecting children everywhere.

Created by artist in support of the Clean Air for Kids campaign, the mural raises awareness of the impact air quality can have on children’s health, wellbeing and learning, and the simple steps that can help improve it in schools and beyond.

A huge thank you to Ruth Brooker and Erin for bringing this important conversation to UPFEST and showing how public art can inspire change.

UPFEST x Audrey Kawasaki 🎨

Returning to UPFEST for the second time, Audrey shares the story behind Not So Soft, a mural inspired by and evolved from a painting she first created in 2013.

Thanks to Sadie Were, Paul Roberts and the entire UPFEST crew for their support in bringing this mural to life and to David.multicapture for the beautiful images featured in this reel.

Missed Audrey painting during the festival? You can still see Not So Soft at 274 North Street, Bedminster, Bristol.

Upfest 2026 ✅

A massive thank you to every artist who painted, every volunteer who helped make it happen, every venue that opened its doors and everyone who came out to support us over the last 17 days. Seeing the streets filled with people exploring, discovering new artwork and celebrating street art together is what it’s all about.

The good news? The festival might be over, but the artwork is still here. So if you missed it, or want to take another look, Bristol’s walls are waiting for you. Come and see us anytime!
