Last Saturday Jose the owner of Casa Latina gave us a glimpse into the Casa Latina world and some gorgeous wings and filled platain cups with chicken and pulled beef. Defintely a hit and worth a visit whether you are a local or just visiting Bristol.

Last year this was created for a women's pageant. The cause, raising money to support the ongoing issues facing women and young girls ... through work done by Women's Aid, Stop Acid Attacks and others.

Delivering for this client honestly challenged my misconceptions about pageants and the women who took part in them. I met some truly amazing women, doing extraordinary work and it made me reflect on my own contribution and where I was in my commitment to elevate and uplift other women as well as fighting injustice.

I'm still learning, still growing and still becoming. I'm taking up more space, speaking up more and where I would politely knock before, I'm hammering on the doors closed to me. I'm determined to make sure I support more great causes, collaborate and share resources with other women lead business and those championing and fighting for the rights of women and girls across the globe.
