"The Living Womb curates and prioritises working with creatives who
are systemically affected by the heteronormative and patriarchal
oppressive system we find ourselves living in.
This means we support
artists who are Global Majority, LGBTQIA+, working class, womxn and differently abled bodied people.
We especially want to work with creatives engaged in changing the societal conversation to a happier and healthier place to exist on Earth; such as challenging the ecological crisis, racism, sexism,
discrimination of ability, sexuality, income, ect.
The Living Womb holds events, workshops and talks in a cosy living room-esk space which thrives on open communication and joyous exploration of all that there is to explore in life. We work with creatives to showcase and share practises of art, music, performance, poetry, film, voice and other daily, creative practises to provide
spaces of ritual and connection to ourselves, to others and the Earth that holds us.
We invite you to fully express your self authentically, to show up as you are and to feel safe, acknowledged and held in your way of being.
We are interested in collaborating with like-minded expressive organisations and collectives in Bristol and around the UK."
