Bodies in motion. Shadows in the room.

A dance floor to lose yourself in. Built on connection, collective energy, and the freedom to exist exactly as you are.

We’re beginning to share more glimpses of the Q***rky world.

Anonymous moments, moving silhouettes.
Little fragments of the atmosphere we create together.

Your privacy and right to your image will always matter to us. If you spot a photo of yourself you’d rather not have shared, just DM us and we’ll take it down. No questions asked.

There’s a dance floor waiting for you. 🖤
Our New Year’s Eve gathering is on the horizon.

Come as you are. Leave a little different.

A BIG THANK YOU FROM THE QUEERKY TEAM

We’re just about dropping back down to earth after last weekend and we’d love to take a moment to say thank you to all of those who were able to make it.

To old friends and new friends alike, we’d like to give you all a big shout out for helping to create a safe Q***r space in Bristol. A space where everyone is welcome to be themselves, and connect with one another on and off the dancefloor.

It’s an immense amount of work from such a large team of people. So here we go:

Thank you to all of our welfare crew and security teams for keeping us safe in the venue.

Thank you to the tech team for a perfect tuned soundsystem and lighting.

Thank you to the logistics team for setting up the installations, the cuddle puddle and the overall decor.

Thank you to the team of volunteers who helped for set up and pack down.

Thank you to all the Q***rky residents for planning this event: The Finance, Logistics, Bookings, Marketing, Art & Graphics team. It’s such a beautiful well oiled machine.

Thank you to the entire Loco Klub Venue Staff (Duty manager, bar staffs, box office and cloak room) and their ongoing support.

Finally, thank you to all the artists who played on the evening. The people who curated the line-ups and all of you who came to listen to such beautiful music and embodied this q***r utopia.

We wouldn’t be here without all these passionate individual working tirelessly behind the scene. The artists showing up and creating their wonderful soundscapes universe. And all the guests lifting all of us up and giving us a reason to continue.

Thank you.

We are thrilled to present our new Resident Illustrator at Q***rky: Joni a.k.a. Pashgino ✨

We feel very lucky to have their creative energy join our collective 🫶

A few lovely words from them:

« Hia! my name is Joni and I am a aspiring illustrator with an interest and passion for narrative illustration, storytelling, and character design. My work is rooted in creating characters and visual worlds 🧚‍♀️
I’m soooooo excited to have been selected as the Resident Illustrator for Q***rky! I’m looking forward to using this opportunity to create work that celebrates the beauty and magic of q***rness 🌀⭐️

Outside of illustration, I’m a bubbly personality that loves meeting new people, having a boogie and gettin jiggy with my pals! Nightlife, music, and raves are a big part of my life. Safe spaces such as q***rky and q***r nightlife have been a lifeline to me and very important in my development as a person giving me the confidence to express myself and be connected to an important part of who i am.

Feeling very lucky to be apart of this collective 🍀🫧 xx »

A special thanks to all previous resident illustrators Edvin (๔เรչкø )and Marcin (Marcin ). Their work will always be a fundamental part of us 🦋

More dreamy mutations are coming to the Cuddle Puddle this September 🖤

We’re handing the room over to Haze ( Haze ) for a night of deep listening, warped frequencies & full sensory immersion. Submerge yourself in the drift with this thoughtful line-up:

Kirano ( Kirano ) exists at the intersection of rhythmic movement, uncanny visuals, and off-kilter vibrations, leaning abstract to near-ugly: the product of true, unadulterated expression. He brings intricate soundscapes obscured behind broken beats and engulfing grooves, formulating a sound that moves through the darker fringes of a myriad of genres. For this set, he’ll take a more downtempo approach, allowing the space between the rhythms to breathe and the darker, more immersive elements of his sound to come forward.

‘ 🌬️ evaporate! & slink-slide across mountains of bliss in the cuddle puddle with Druidress & DJ MEGAFAUNA as they command sultry downtempo rhythms & bejewelled ambient trinkets into a whispering cloud of joy (◡‿◡✿)’

ᕲᖇᑘᓰᕲᖇᘿSS ( ) this ʄąɛཞıɛ զųɛɛŋ divinely crafts musical alchemy with celestial transmutation. Colourful, chromatic, and ever in motion, she gently weaves between tonal worlds. Her triple-three air signs encapsulate you in a state of floating bliss. Expect soft, ethereal neo-tribal blends, chilled grooves, mystic melodic enchantment, and harmonic euphoria. Are you ready for pure transcendence? ♡︎ ⋆⭒🪩˚.⋆

ᴰᴶ ᴹᴱᴳᴬᶠᴬᵁᴺᴬ 🕊️ ( ᴰᴶ ᴹᴱᴳᴬᶠᴬᵁᴺᴬ 🕊 ) is the mutli-genre alias of visual artist Sean Rossiter. Seeking out the uncanny, the unresolved, and the alien, they cut through swathes of sultry downtempo, lush ambient, and deep riverbed bass to build a path through their dreamscapes you can follow.

João (sibi-lo ; 𖦹 sibi-lo 𖦹 (João) ) crafts sets that move fluidly between hypnotic techno, deep trance, atmospheric leftfield, and immersive ambient worlds. Drawing on ideas of ritual, landscape, and collective movement, he approaches dancefloors as temporary sanctuaries — spaces for deep listening, connection, and shared experience.

Come lay down and experience a space to melt into the sound.

Are you ready? We can’t wait to see you all 🖤

New episodes out on our SoundCloud!

Welcome back to Out and Out where we explore Bristol’s nightlife through a q***r and intersectional lens.

In this third episode we will be discussing how to nurture our collective memory with two guests: Andy and Tom Marshman.

Andy works as a LGBT+ culture journalist for 4 years, and has recently become the LGBT+ Editor for Bristol24/7. He has written for publications including Attitude Magazine, and runs an independent LGBT+ journalism platform ‘Show Me The Gays’ ( )

Tom is a local performer and writer who has been in the Bristol Q***r scene for decades. Their work explores q***r memory, community storytelling, and embodied performance practices rooted in lived experience and local histories.
He is currently writing a memoir that focuses on gentrification in Bristol, the experiences of young q***r people in the 1990s, and the ways the city has gradually lost some of its grit and underground spirit. He was also recently honoured as a Bristol Legend at the 24/7 Legends Awards.

Hope you enjoy!

Happy Birthday, Q***rky family!
Once again, we came together and danced the dance.

This felt like such a huge milestone for all of us, a real return to what brought Q***rky to life in the first place. We’re so proud of each and every one of you, and of ourselves, for the connections we’ve built and the memories we’ve created together.

We hope you’re all recovering well. Please make sure to look after yourselves, and know that we’re sending you all the love in the world.
Until next time xx
