Exeter Street Hall HIRE. CLASSES. EVENTS. VOLUNTEER. Exeter Street Hall is a community owned and volunteer managed community centre in the heart of Prestonville, Brighton.

In 2013 it was bought following a community share offer and now we have 900 shareholders. Led and managed by volunteers, the Hall is now a vibrant hub offering activities, classes and events - together with lots of great volunteeering opportunities. [email protected]

Day 3 of the closure - men at work! Dave and Richard are who have been steering the development of the hall since we bought it in 2012. Today they have been tackling damp - the bane of any Victorian property owner. Our volunteers have dedicated thousands of hours of their time ⏰ over the years - we couldn’t do what we do without them. ♥️♥️♥️

Day 2 of the closure and have started work on installing safety lighting outside the hall - plus making progress with the ventilation. We like the subtle down lighters chosen for outside - we consider ourselves ‘guardians’ of our Victorian hall and it’s a juggling act preserving its original features whilst making it safe and sustainable.
