Just got this lovely review from a client who had the most fabulous birthday party last year at the sunning Woodfords near Ditchling. We served Canapés, and a 2 course meal by candlelight on the first night, and a beautiful buffet on the second day. All prepared in an outdoor kitchen with bbqs and a pizza oven! Can't wait to go back there to cook again!

It's tomato season and my favourite way to eat them is on super crisp seeded toast, with LOTS of mayo, TOO MUCH salt and crispy Smoky chilli oil. That's lunch sorted for the rest of the summer 😊❤️🍅

BBQ season is officially open! And that means delicious colourful salads full of flavour ❤️
Last weekend I made a gorgeous carrot salad with saffron infused creme fraiche,
Plus potato, samphire and bbq lemon with a yoghurt dressing, and red cabbage slaw with green apples, pomegranate and dill 😋

we turned some into a pineapple cobbler which went down a treat!

Had a blast feeding the good people of hanover last weekend at their annual Hanover Beer Festival!
I bought my slow cooked Smoky and umami-rich 3 bean chilli, made with toasted walnuts and served in these fun tortilla bowls!, plus, loaded nachos with queso sauce, jacket potatoes and my famous chocolate brownies 😋

Hands up who's tried ? 🤚
Thai was the starter from yesterday's Asian themed dinner party - ttekbokki are chewy thick rice cakes, cooked in a umamai rich Gochuchang sauce topped with sesame and spring onions.. Yummm!
I severd them alongside a sweet and tangy cabbage salad with red pepper, sesame oil and pickled radishes.

You can buy ttekbokki cakes in most Asian supermarket, or you can try using pan fried gnocchi (different texture, but also delishious)
