Over 3 decades collecting and honing their musical collection, Joey has been playing on the Brighton circuit for over 3 years.
Having started their love affair with a mistaken purchase of ''Fat of the Land'' on their 13th Birthday by their dear Mum, having been influenced by the sounds of Motown, Soul and Electronica they had a great foothold already to build their musical obsession from. Favourite artists include Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, Jewel Kid, Haskall, Roots Manuva, Pinto, Cerrone, UMEK, Space 92, Lars Husimann, Pig and Dan, Danny Wabbit, KUSS to name a few!...... A musical menagerie that could boggle most minds.
Having earned residencies and brands with Underground Techno Society, Min:animal, Music Pawn, Yorokobi Records and more.....most recently they have taken on the role of promotions and events manager for Underground Techno Society here in their hometown! They have played for Size, Brighton Music Conference, LatetotheDisco, Stompafunk, Mojo Mojo, DykesonDecks, Level7, Elemental, DiscoBits, Minanimal, Music Pawn, G3tLoo5e, Yorokobi, Garden Leave, Wait What? Malfunktion Radio, Decadance, Widgeon Theatre Boat and more
Playing on the South Coasts Leading Dance Station - Codesouth FM. Joey has curated both the MIN:ANIMAL and Music Bits Shows. Sharing a once a month show with Co Owner Charmain Love on their Yorokobi Records Show.
