Trailblazing psychedelic innovators MIEN are heading out on tour this spring, bringing their kaleidoscopic soundscapes and electrifying live energy to audiences across the UK and Europe.

A band rooted in true sonic exploration, MIEN is redefining the boundaries of psychedelia. With a new album arriving in early 2025—blending radiant grooves, ambient dreamscapes, and bold experimentation—this tour offers the first chance to experience their audial magic live.

Featuring Rishi Dhir (Elephant Stone), Alex Maas (The Black Angels), John Mark Lapham (The Earlies), and Robb Kidd (Golden Dawn Arkestra), MIEN has been described as “apocalyptic psych rock” (Pitchfork) and “the line-up of your dreams” (Clash).

Based in Brussels, his sets effortlessly connect organic and electronic music, from jazz to techno and house to hip-hop, making the seemingly unrelated feel right at home together.

Welcome to the FMLY Smag På Dig Selv (SPDS)

Hailing from Copenhagen, this electrifying trio whose name translates to ‘Taste Yourself’ consists of two saxophonists and one drummer. They have been shaking up the Nordic live music scene since 2018. Their boundary-pushing sound fuses punk, jazz, 90s dance, hip-hop, afro-beat, and pop into an instrumental euphoria that’s dangerous, propulsive, seductive, and free.

SPDS’s debut album, released in April 2024, received critical acclaim and solidified their reputation as one of Denmark’s most thrilling live acts. From selling out Store Vega five months in advance to electrifying over 11,000 fans at Roskilde Festival, they’ve brought their techno-inspired energy to the mainstream while staying true to their roots in the underground.

With the added dynamism of Nordic throat singing and activist poetry readings in their performances, SPDS delivers an unforgettable, sweat-soaked experience every time they hit the stage. Now, they’re gearing up to bring their high-octane energy to audiences around the globe.

Xiaolin (曉霖) is a DJ, producer, vinyl collector and classically-trained musician from Hong Kong with a curious ear and open-minded approach to music.

Releases to date include two EP’s on 宀 Records, two of three EP’s on Sound Metaphors/Bless You, VA contributions on Harmony Rec, Polychrome Audio as well as collaborations on 20/20 Vision’s “Exit Planet Earth” & Klasse Wrecks. Her recent ambient live set was released as part of Qeone’s SoundSculptors series.

Her ongoing ‘HEX’ residency at Mihn 宀 has seen her invite & play alongside Peach, Polygonia, Mary Lake, Joe Delon etc. and she has recently joined Alex Kassian as fellow seasonal residents at The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Xiaolin has held a resident shows at EOS & Baihui, with guest mixes on EYA, The MUDD Show, The Lot Radio & NTS. Other recent highlights include Boiler Room, Blitz Club, and a Panorama Bar live set as part of Sound Metaphors’ 9-year-anniversary event.
