🌺WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WEDDING CELEBRANT AND A REGISTRAR?

🌺Celebrants create your ceremony from a blank page from your story with every detail of you making it personal to you.

🌸They include your pets your children your Nan :..we give you the whole day and get to know you from the day you enquire right up until the reception .

🌺We re-write your script a million times and we obsess over every detail. A registrar does the legal bit in 20 mins doesn’t meet you until the day and does 5-7 weddings per day.

🌸Currently you need by law to have a wedding ceremony with a celebrant separately from the legal ceremony which is called a ‘2 plus 2’ at a register office mid week for about £150 then you work with someone like me separately .

🌸Registrar weddings are right for some people and can be lovely

🌺Celebrant led weddings work better for people who want a personal bespoke story led wedding with someone who knows them really well

🌸With a Celebrant you should get something unique. It won’t be like anyone else’s wedding.

🌸I had a conversation with a wedding couple I met with for a wedding planning meeting on Saturday

🌺They spoke to a lot of wedding celebrants before they hired me

🌸All the celebrants were all brilliant

🌺But they all talked about what they offered to the couple

🌸What their process was

🌺What value the couple were getting for their money

🌸What their services were

🌺As though they needed to prove their worth

🌺I on the other hand totally forgot to mention any of that

🌸and obsessed about their story for an hour

🌺There’s a certain type of confidence we grow from experience as Celebrants
