After weeks of organising the Forró à Beira Mar Festival, countless hours, hard work and very little rest, I finally treated myself to a well-deserved (and slightly belated!) massage at So Hove Massage.

It was exactly what my body needed.

A huge thank you to Samuel Hilder, an exceptional massage therapist whose professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail are second to none. As a DJ and dance teacher, my body takes a real beating, and Samuel knew exactly how to release the tension and help me recover.

If you're looking for a massage therapist in Brighton & Hove, I can't recommend So Hove Massage highly enough.

✨ There’s something magical about dancing Forró at the Bandstand in Brighton.

As the sun sets over the sea, the music starts, strangers become dance partners, and for a few hours the world slows down. Every smile, every embrace and every step reminds us why we fell in love with this community.

This year, the Forró À Beira Mar Festival 2026 was everything we dreamed of and more. Four unforgettable days filled with incredible workshops, amazing live music, talented DJs, beautiful people and memories that will stay with us forever.

To every dancer, musician, teacher, volunteer and friend who made this festival so special... thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

And we're already dreaming about the next one...

Brighton will once again become the home of Forró by the sea. 🌊💙

Until then... we'll keep dancing at the Bandstand, where the sea, the sunset and Forró create pure magic.
