A reminder about my Dad, Michael Garrick and this time of year.

13 years ago on 11/11/11 he ceased to be. Synchronistically he was having this album ‘pressed’ into being.

He was a pacifist.

Remember that those who died in war did it because they were led to believe that their actions could create no more war.

Never forget that they hate seeing their memories turned into a nationalistic pride sodden emotional manipulation for ‘freedom’.

Freedom can only be found within.
Never without.

I testify that to Face and Own one’s darkness (and we all have it just as much as light, as the symbol below denotes) in whichever manner that one chooses to (publicly displaying it on social media, indulging in escapist behaviour for examples) whilst remaining aware of what it is one is doing WITHOUT going on medication meant to numb and dumb, superficial CBT, or any other method designed by the modern world to merely brush it under the carpet so that ‘you can cope’,
Will empower one beyond your wildest imagination.

Face your Fears.
Face Yourself.
Know Thou Thyself.
Accept It All.

…and when one knows that the battle for equilibrium within is fought and won forever,
