Patterns Brighton, a safe space for Brighton’s underground club culture since 2015. Patterns has firmly established itself as a grassroots live music venue that punches above its weight. Built on the grounds of 10 Marine Parade on the former site of an art deco hotel, the building has a deeply ingrained musical heritage, including Ted Potters Music Bar and the infamous Escape Club.

We’re proud to be part of MUTATIONS 2026.

Brighton’s seminal Mutations Festival returns Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th October 2026 for its eighth edition.

Friday brings the undefinable, undeniable, raucous FAT DOG, joined by Squid, Working Men’s Club, Basht., Bdrmm, Lip Critic, Theatre, Insecure Men + many more.

Saturday sees Beastie Boys alumni MIKE D make a rare UK live performance, joined by Dove Ellis, Alex Cameron, Panic Shack, Unkle Sounds, the north, Warhaus + many more.

This year’s edition features 100+ of the most exciting international breakthrough and established artists, performing across 10 of Brighton’s most beloved grassroots music venues — including us! It’s Mutations’ most ambitious and exciting edition yet.

Renowned for showcasing ‘the next big thing’, from CMAT, Yard Act & Sprints (2021), to The Last Dinner Party, Wunderhouse & Fat Dog (2022), English Teacher, Antony Szmierek & Paris Paloma (2023), Kneecap, Arooj Aftab & Adult DVD (2024), to Keg and Big Special (2025), Mutations 2026 will be no exception.

Brighton Pride weekend is upon us and in true Patterns form, we’ve got a massive lineup of events and DJs. Day parties, terrace parties, and sweaty basement parties. Please note that any day parties on Saturday and Sunday won’t be accessible unless you have a pride street party ticket 🏳️‍🌈
