⭐️MARCUS & CHRISTEL⭐️

This lovely pair flew over from Miami with their nearest and dearest to celebrate their wedding at Fitzrovia Chapel

London always played a big part as the backdrop of their relationship, including getting engaged at The Shard

This ceremony was a joy! Excited to share more soon 🫶🏻

Come with me to the absolutely incredible Wickerwood Farm 🌿✨

I got to celebrate the brilliant Dale & Pete here and honestly, this place is an Instagram moment waiting to happen. Gorgeous boho details, tipis, beautiful outdoor spaces… and one VERY special ceremony setting 😍

And obviously I made the brilliant people behind the wedding wave at the camera too 😂👋

I love coming to this venue. It always feels relaxed, wildly romantic and a little bit different. And suited Dale and Pete down to the ground ♥️

People aren’t gonna like this one… 😬

But I think “never go to bed angry” is pretty crap relationship advice.

Sometimes it’s late, you’re exhausted, you’re both completely dysregulated and absolutely NOTHING useful is coming out of continuing that argument.

You don’t get bonus relationship points for forcing a resolution at midnight.

Sometimes the kindest thing you can do is say: “We’re okay. We’re not sorting this tonight. Let’s come back to it tomorrow.”

The important bit?

Actually come back to it.

Going to bed angry isn’t the problem. Going to bed angry and never dealing with it is. ❤️

We’ve all done it.

“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”

Narrator: It was, in fact, very much something. 😂

The problem is, when we expect our partner to just know, we’ve created a test they didn’t know they were taking.

They don’t have to magically figure it out for your feelings to be valid. Say the thing. Kindly, clearly, out loud.

Much better odds of actually getting what you need. ❤️

Winning the argument doesn’t necessarily mean you’re winning at the relationship.

When proving your point becomes more important than understanding each other, it can slowly turn you from teammates into opponents.

Of course you’re going to disagree. Sometimes you will be right. 😂

But if you repeatedly leave arguments feeling victorious while the person you love leaves feeling unheard, that distance adds up.

So next time you’re absolutely determined to prove your case, maybe ask yourself: what am I actually trying to win here?

Maybe romance isn’t the big gestures after all.

After hearing hundreds of couples tell me what they love most about each other, it’s almost never the fancy holidays, expensive presents or dramatic declarations.

It’s the cup of tea. The in-jokes. Being their biggest cheerleader. Feeling completely yourself around someone.

Turns out being truly known - and loved because of it - might be one of the most romantic things there is. ❤️

What’s the smallest thing your partner does that means the most to you?

⭐️ROSIE & JOSH⭐️

What a glorious wedding this was a few weeks back at Limekiln, as we celebrated Rosie and Josh.

Amongst lots of love and laughter, the ceremony featured a game of Russian roulette to see who would do their vows first: a groomsmen brought up a tray of two clear shots, one containing straight gin, the other water. The loser had to do their vows first 💪🏼

Rosie looks literally incredible in this period inspired dress.

Thanks for the epic photos Mark Horton | UK Wedding Photographer ♥️

The longer you’re with someone, the less actual language you seem to need.

At some point, perfectly normal sentences get replaced by half-finished thoughts, weird noises, facial expressions, nicknames that have evolved so many times they bear no resemblance to the original name, and references to something that happened in 2013 that would make absolutely no sense to anybody else.

You can say two words and somehow communicate an entire paragraph.

And I reckon at least 40% of conversations in a long-term relationship would be completely incomprehensible to an outsider 😂

It’s basically your own private language - built up from years of shared experiences, in-jokes and tiny bits of history that only the two of you understand.

Please tell me we’re not the only ones… what’s something you and your partner say that would sound completely unhinged to anyone else? 👇

⭐️INGO & KERSTEN’S VOW RENEWAL⭐️

I had the absolute pleasure of being part of Kersten & Ingo’s surprise vow renewal at Brighton Band Stand recently.

They’d tried to get married in Brighton nearly 25 years ago, but bureaucracy said no. Ingo never let it go, and wanted to return to give Kersten the full Brighton experience they missed out on all that time ago.

I’d been planning it with Ingo for a little while. There were lots of tears. And joy. Tessa played their favorite songs on violin - including Into My Arms by Nick Cave (which was very fitting, given we were practically opposite his house 👀)

And it was my shortest commute to a wedding ever! 1.5 minutes from my front door ♥️

More gorgeous intimate ceremonies, please!

⭐️DALE & PETE⭐️

Ahh this was a gorgeous wedding a few weeks back for Pete and Dale at the ALWAYS epic Wickerwood Farm

Hidden in the woodland by the lake living the boho styling dream, the ceremony was gorgeous and funny and love filled. They got together way back in their wilder party days, and now have a beautiful little family who were there to see them get married.

I took loads of lovely footage of this one and can’t wait to share a reel with you when I’ve had a moment to edit it!

Always epic to be at Wickerwood and see the lovely Jude ♥️ with an A-list of suppliers Wickerwood Farm | wedding & wellbeing venue
