I thought you might enjoy watching this one from start to finish 🤍

There’s quite a lot going on in this tribute, but I think it all works so beautifully together. I used lots of different foliages to get that lovely loose shape, working with OASIS® Renewal Floral Foam and a Biolit tray I added the flowers gradually rather than trying to make it too symmetrical.

And of course those Proteas… you really don’t need many of them to make an impact! 😍 I love them mixed with the softer whites and lilacs, with the thistles, berries and little bits of texture tucked in between.

It’s quite a wild, natural look compared with some of the more traditional funeral work I make, and I really enjoyed creating it.

This week’s Simply Seasonal is looking rather pretty… even if I do say so myself 😏🌸

We’ve gone soft and summery this week with those gorgeous big white hydrangeas, peachy and blush tones, plenty of lovely greenery and, of course, those fabulous gerberas stealing the show! 😍

I absolutely love how these have come together — lots of texture, lovely soft colours and just that little something different.

As always, they’re hand-tied, gift-wrapped and just £20 💐

And seeing as it’s Bank Holiday weekend, if you fancy one you’d better be quick! 👀 We’re open tomorrow and then we’re putting the scissors down until Tuesday ✂️😂

So whether it’s for someone else, for the Bank Holiday table… or you’ve decided you deserve flowers (which you obviously do 😉), pop in and grab one while you can.

A beautiful all-white tribute for today’s timelapse 🤍

Lots of lovely fresh whites, with plenty of foliage and softer trailing pieces to give it that natural movement as I worked around the design.

I always think an all-white tribute looks so elegant when it’s finished 🤍

A pretty pink and white wreath tribute for today’s timelapse 🌸

I love how soft and delicate this one turned out, with those beautiful blush pink Sweet Avalanche roses mixed with carnations, lisianthus and little touches of white.

Such a lovely combination for a traditional wreath tribute 🤍

This one was made on a 30cm NAYLORBASE® wreath ring from . The base is made from 100% recycled and recyclable material, and the OASIS® Bio Floral Foam degrades by 91% within 3 years in an anaerobic environment. 🌿

You definitely can’t be shy with colour when you’re making a tribute like this! 🌈

For this coffin spray I was given a gorgeous mix of really vibrant colours to work with, and I loved finding a way to bring them all together without any one colour taking over.

The yellow roses really shine amongst the hot pink carnations, purples, oranges and fresh greens, and I’ve mixed lots of different shapes and textures through the design to keep your eye moving all the way along it.

It’s quite a large piece too, so building up that lovely full shape while still keeping movement through the flowers is always an important part of the design.

Such a joyful combination of colours for a very special final tribute 💛🩷💜🧡

A beautiful 3ft cross tribute in whites and soft creams 🤍

I thought I’d bring you along while I made this one. I’ve used a lovely mix of roses, spray roses, lisianthus, chrysanthemums and delicate touches of statice, with just enough foliage coming through to break up all the white.

With a tribute this size, I like to work my way around the cross gradually, keeping an eye on the overall shape while building plenty of depth and texture through the flowers. The different shades of white and cream work so beautifully together, especially once those larger roses start going in.

Such a timeless and elegant tribute to create 🤍

A little look at what we got up to at The Flower School on Thursday evening 🌸🌿

We started with a gorgeous selection of summer flowers, foliages and an Bio Floral Foam Ring… and this was the finished result. 💕

I love this style of wreath — lots of different textures, little pops of colour and plenty of movement, so there’s always something new to catch your eye.

Such a lovely evening creating these with everyone who joined us. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did! 🌸

Creating this pretty pink and white single-ended spray 🌸🤍

You don’t always need a full-size coffin spray to create something beautiful. A smaller single-ended design works really well and still gives you plenty of space to create a lovely natural shape.

For this one I used Renewal Floral Foam, the plant-based floral foam, in a Biolit tray. I started with my foliage to get the shape before working through the flowers, using soft pink roses, spray roses and lisianthus with white chrysanthemums, gypsophila and touches of eucalyptus.

I love how all the different shades of pink work together, with the whites keeping everything soft and delicate.

A smaller tribute, but still with plenty of impact and a really pretty way to say a final farewell 🤍
