Elsham Hall dates back to the 1760s and was acquired by the Elwes Family in 1931 from King's College Cambridge having previously belonged to the Astley Corbett family. during the Second World War but was left badly damaged necessitating the demolition of two of the wings. The present house along with a 19th Century orangery in the grounds is Grade II* listed and a private family home (the Hall is

not open to the public). The Park and Gardens were opened as a Country Park in 1970 by Captain and Mrs Elwes "to promote enjoyment of the countryside and wildlife and an appreciation of the arts and rural crafts". The gardens include a large medieval carp lake and stew pond and a 19th century coach house and stables which are also Grade II listed.

What a fantastic night we had on Friday at Elsham Hall Gardens and Country Park

The audience were incredible, and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces. Thank you for moving closer for the second spot - energy levels went through the roof!

For the very first time, we were joined on stage by a horn section featuring Steve Walker, Stuart MacDonald and Dave Brocklesby, and my goodness, did they pack a punch! Thank you chaps.

We were also joined for the first time on backing vocals by my Goddaugter Evelyn Hansell and Rosa Hendrie, bringing ALL the smiles and energy and a very welcomed sparkle to the show. Thank you, ladies! ✨

A huge thank you, always, to the band: Matt Gidlow, Andy Simons and Philip Carratt.

And last, but certainly not least, Dave Cook, who swapped the drum kit for a Ray Cooper style set up on percussion and absolutely smashed it (quite literally with that vibraslap😂). So much fun. The only thing missing was a bald cap!

Thank you to the team at Elsham Hall for inviting us to perform as part of the Summer Concerts series. What a beautiful setting, and such gracious hosts. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after from the moment we arrived.

Massive thanks also to Stephen Ferguson and his team. We had a great sound on stage, and I've been told it sounded "epic" out front too. The lighting looked spot on all night. Thank you, team.

We managed to capture some great photos and videos, which we'll be sharing soon. In the meantime, if you took any pictures or videos on the night, we'd love to see them — please pop them in the comments below!
