A great afternoon was had by all 16 golfers playing in the Juniors v Seniors match on Tuesday.

The match concluded with a lovely 2 course meal after play, steak pie and chips followed by sticky toffee pudding / custard, it was unbelievably good.

The Juniors came out on top 3-1 on this occasion. New friendships were formed and the seniors took the juniors under their wing.

To cap the day off, a fantastic donation was made by the seniors section, kindly donating £200.00 to the junior fund.

Lucas Cox ( Vice Captain ) received the donation from Seniors Captain Ross McFarlane on the day.

Certainly this will be a permanent fixture back on the Junior schedule for 2027.

26th July 2026 – Elsham Juniors headed to LIV Golf Championship Sunday and had the most amazing day.

Upon arrival, thanks to , the Elsham Juniors were gifted complimentary LIV golf hats, pin badges and lanyards. They were then given access to the media area at the range where they got up close and personal with some of the worlds best golfers warming up – many juniors were thrilled as these golfers took time to autograph their hats. The experience didn’t stop there as the group, courtesy of our LIV Golf hosts, were led to the VIP area on the 1st tee to watch the likes of Bryson De Chambeau, Tyrell Hatton, Cam Smith, Lucas Herbert, Harold Varner III and Abraham Ancer tee off in the first two groups from arguably the best vantage point on the course.

The rest of the day was spent watching world class players play at a world class venue finishing on the 18th green watching Lucas Herbert hole a monster birdie putt to round off a great tournament.
Our thanks go to and for a truly memorable experience for the Elsham Golf Club Junior Section.

Junior Roll Up – 9-hole competition- Thursday 2nd July

Well done to all 9 juniors that played in Thursday’s roll up competition, some great golf once again played by all, played on a pleasant summers evening. The golf course was in exceptional condition from tee to green, absolute credit to Colin Hopper and his team.
The scoring was very close, with just 3 points separating first place to last place, but winning by just one point on the evening with a score of 19 points was Samuel Collins, well played, ( See final player positions on picture)
Young Luke Furnues (Age 10) joined the roll up after gaining his first handicap in the week, he played really well and scored an impressive 16 points.
Two new junior members joined the evening, and took part working towards their first handicaps, welcome Jessica Lamb and Freddie Hobby, keep the good work up and we hope you enjoy your time at Esham GC over the coming years.
Also playing from the Academy tees was young Adam Mosey- Bent (Age 10) who is progressing his golf nicely each week, keep the practice up over the summer.
Next Junior 18-hole competition to be held is on Saturday 4th July.

Round 3 of the BCCS National Junior Golf Knockout Competition
Sunday 14th June 2026.
The Elsham juniors had been drawn away to Wearside golf club for their 3rd round match, played last Sunday 14th June.
The 270-mile round trip made by Evan Churchill, Musa Khan, Lucas Cox and Lewis Kirby was sadly an end to their BCCS National Junior Knockout 2026 journey.

Playing the course blind and one that had very testing green surfaces was certainly a challenge in itself, made even trickier by the strong winds on the day.
Well played to both the Wearside and Elsham juniors.

Match result – Elsham lost 4 down overall.
Evan Churchill and Lucas Cox lost 2 down.
Musa Khan and Lewis Kirby lost 2 down.

The team had been made very welcome by the Wearside golf club members and clubhouse staff, good luck to the team in the next round

North Lincolnshire Junior Golf League: Elsham GC v Thonock Park GC
Sunday 17th May 2026:
The Junior Team played host to Thonock Park, hoping for some success with home advantage.
The pairing of Tommy Woosey and Samuel Collins secured the first points for Elsham with a 4 & 3 win, Tommy had to leave after 12 holes due to another commitment. Samuel held on against James Swindlehurst and Emilia Layzell to secure the win, with a 5 nett 4 on hole 15.
Captain Evan Churchill paired up with Musa Khan, racing to 4 up early on in the match, but a brave fight back by the Thonock pairing of Luke Edis and Dean Bedford fought back and won the match 2 up.
The pairing of Lewis Kirby and Luke Attridge found themselves 5 down early on, but some great golf by them both, they got their match to all square mid-way on the back nine.
Standing on tee 18 they were one down and could only manage a half, to lose the match 1 down to Alexander Gibb and Harry Spittlehouse.

The course was in great condition with many favourable comments from the visiting team on the quality of the greens, great work by Elsham’s course manager Colin Hopper and his team.
Well done to the Thonock Park junior team on their win, winning both Home and away legs.
