🌸 Gratitude post #1 🌸
Late to the peony party? Maybe. But grateful? Absolutely.

This week I’m planting peonies way behind schedule—and planting a new habit too: a weekly gratitude post. Not because everything is going perfectly (spoiler: it’s not), but because I’m learning that pausing to notice the good matters—especially when life feels heavy.

Lately, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to do it all. Be a mum, be a wife, be a daughter, sister, run a business, be creative, grow flawless flowers, keep the beds weed-free, stick to the “perfect” planting plan… and honestly? I keep falling short of those expectations. Because they’re unrealistic. And exhausting.

So instead of chasing perfect, I’m choosing to celebrate progress. Choosing to see the beauty in what is, not just what should be. This week I’m grateful for the soft soil, the rain that showed up, and the quiet moment of getting these peonies (finally) into the ground so I can have armfuls of my favourite flowers in a few years time.

Here’s to messy timelines, growing roots, and showing up anyway. 🌱💗

✨ From the flower field to the bouquet — a dreamy mix of soft whites, textured greens, and a little something unexpected... BLACKBERRIES 🍇💚

I might be slightly obsessed with tucking unripe berries into arrangements lately. There’s just something about their wild texture and rich color that makes everything else pop. Another surprise for me this season are raspberry greens. I have never really understood the fuss about using them as a foliage until this season. Unfortunately I have neglected my little patch and even thought about taking them out the field. I definitely will be giving them some much needed TLC this autumn.

Working alongside such talented growers and creatives to celebrate sustainable British blooms in this beautiful setting was unforgettable. Every stem placed into this living installation was grown with care, passion, and a whole lot of love. 💐

Proud to represent small-scale, seasonal flower farming — and even prouder to be part of a growing movement that’s blooming across the country 🌱🇬🇧

I have spent the most incredible few days at RHS Wentworth Woodhouse, working alongside a very talented team of flower farmers to help bring something very special to life. 👀

Buckets of blooms, armfuls of foliage, and a whole lot of teamwork have gone into this floral creation — and I can’t wait to show you the finished result!

🦋✨Some really lovely flowers have made their way into this week’s bouquets 🌿💐

The delphiniums are stealing the show this week but I’m also loving the blue eryngium with its wild, spiky charm. I’ve been pairing it with soft white, purple, and blue statice, plus some tall, graceful veronica. It’s one of those combinations that just feels right — a little wild, a little gentle, full of texture and movement.

Every week the field offers something new, and it’s always a bit of a joy seeing what comes together.
