This weekend we welcome and to for a wonderful evening of chat and tastings from 4 regions of Italy - Veneto, Emilia R, Lazio & Calabria. We chose to begin with these regions because they are special to us and Calabria is where my heart is. 3 years ago and I were bombing around Naples in pursuit of all good things and, as usual when we’re together, much hilarity ensued… For 30 years we’ve shared a love of food and fun and drinkies and Italy and now, on 23rd August, she’s coming to along with the fabulous Ilaria Padovana of to share an evening of produce and recipes from Calabria, Veneto, Lazio & Emilia Romana. I’ll be in discussion with them both about the myths and expectations of Italian cuisine as well as its place in the British kitchen. There will be regional wines to taste, a fabulous tasting supper, Ilaria’s incredible produce to buy or order, Rachel’s stunning books to get signed, amaro, amore, anything good that starts with an a, and I suspect much hilarity will ensue! You know when you just have to take ANOTHER photo of your baby/dog/cat even though there are 20,000 similar photos on your phone? That’s what happens with the wedding bower . On a viewing yesterday the dappled sunlight was just so perfect and the greenery seemed extra green. Book a viewing with us and come and wonder at the beauty of it yourself. (Also had to take one of Dudley obvs. 🙄)

Bluebells, blossom, sun. All out at Marshwood Manor for our amazing upcoming yoga and wild swimming retreats with and in June. 2 rooms left for the weekend retreat 6th-9th and also for the weekday retreat 10th-13th.
