❤️ “Thank you” doesn’t feel enough… ❤️
Three market days in a row.
Sleepless nights, tired feet, early mornings… and a very, very full heart. 🥹❤️
Sitting here after such a busy Bank Holiday weekend, I just keep thinking about all the little moments that made these three days so special.
Some of my long-distance followers had actually waited for the Bank Holiday to come to Bridlington so they could finally meet me and support my little stall. 🥹 I honestly don’t know how to explain what that means to me.
Then there was a lovely elderly couple who were here on holiday. They randomly found my stall on Saturday, had their lunch… and then came back every single day for all three days to have their lunch from my little stall. ❤️
Something so simple, but that kind of support stays in your heart.
And then there are my wonderful regular customers.
Some came to see me with their families who were visiting Bridlington, proudly introducing me to their loved ones. Hearing someone introduce me by saying, “She’s a special lady”… honestly, my heart was full. 🥹❤️
Even people who weren’t buying stopped at my stall just to ask:
“How’s business today?”
“How’s your little one?”
“Are you tired?” 😂
…and then stayed for a little chat and shared their own life updates with me.
Those conversations mean more than people probably realise.
Being away from my own family isn’t always easy, but having people around me who genuinely care about me and my little family makes me realise just how lucky I am. ❤️
Markets have given me so much more than a place to sell food.
They’ve given me friendships.
They’ve introduced me to wonderful souls.
They’ve given me confidence.
And they’ve shown me how much kindness still exists in the world.
Everyone has different tastes and preferences, and of course not everyone who walks past my stall will buy something — and that’s absolutely okay. But when someone stops simply to say hello, check how I’m doing or wish me well, that support means just as much. 🥰
And honestly… sometimes I wonder how I’m ever going to become an “inside person” if I open my own café one day 😂 because I really, really love my market days!
There’s something special about standing behind my little stall, seeing familiar faces coming towards me, meeting new people and having those little conversations throughout the day.
So to every person who bought a meal, came back again, travelled to see me, introduced me to their family, recommended my food, stopped for a chat, shared my posts, left a lovely comment or simply smiled and wished me well…
THANK YOU. ❤️
You are all part of this little journey.
It may just look like a little market stall from the outside, but behind it are some very big dreams, many sleepless nights and a heart that is incredibly grateful. 🥹❤️
Small stall. Big dreams. Grateful heart.
With love,
