Burrowbridge Coronation Hall was contructed in 1953, the result of years of hard fund raising and hard work by the local community it has served ever since. The hall is one of the largest in the area and underwent complete refurbishment in 2003 thanks to grants from the Community Fund; District Councils; the Parish Council; Wyvern Environmental Trust and many donations from the Burrowbridge commun
ity. The building consists of the wooden floored main hall, carpeted bar area and a spacious kitchen which is fully equipped; has ample worktops and two serveries. Seating and tables will accomodate 120 people. This makes the hall an ideal venue for wedding receptions and private celebrations. The stage makes it suitable for drama productions or concerts when the hall can seat up to 200 people. A large projection screen is also available. The hall holds a full Premises License including the provision and sale of alcohol when appropriate. It also has a PRS license allowing recorded or live music.
