CIS Contractor?
Had 20% CIS tax deducted from your pay?
You could be owed £1,000s by HMRC.
A quick personal update from me…
Many of you will remember Riverside Kitchen, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support the takeaway received from the local community. Unfortunately, in the end the numbers just didn’t make the business viable to continue.
Since then I’ve focused on something I’ve actually been involved in for many years — bookkeeping, financial analysis, and helping businesses understand their numbers.
After decades managing businesses and analysing finances across the licensed trade, I now run a service helping self-employed contractors and subcontractors with CIS tax refunds and self-assessment.
CIS SAS started after years of doing my own tax returns and helping friends and family with theirs. Time and again I saw that many contractors — even those paying large firms — were missing legitimate refunds. Often they were passed to juniors, told they couldn’t claim certain expenses, or simply didn’t understand what they were entitled to.
That’s why I created CIS SAS.
I offer a one-to-one service where I work directly with you to make sure every allowable expense is claimed and nothing gets missed. No call centres, no scripts — just clear advice and a simple process where you hand everything over and I take care of the rest.
Most of the contractors I help end up receiving more back than they expected, often covering the cost of the service itself.
If you or someone you know works in construction and has 20% CIS deducted from their pay, there’s a good chance they could be owed a refund.
I’ve set up a new page here:
