We have been informed by BCBC that the Brackla Street car park is not safe to use, so we are not able to reopen the Weekly Undercover Car Boot Sale. BCBC have not been able to provide us with a date as to when and if this will change.

This plus the ongoing restrictions in place with regard outside events means that we will no longer be able to continue operating as we have for the last twenty three years. Bridgend Festivals Committee will cease operating from its office and yard on Trewsfield Industrial Estate with immediate effect.

We would like to thank you all for your support over the years and wish you all the very best for the future.

Following the recent changes in Government advice and after great consideration it is with much regret that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Bridgend County Show.

As a Charitable Organisation, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our exhibitors, sponsors, members, volunteers and the many organisations who work alongside the committee to stage the show.

We thank the visiting public, for your continued support year after year.

Each trader, caterer, exhibitor or schedule contributor who paid in advance for the 2020 show is entitled to a refund or transfer of application to 2021, but we sincerely hope those organisations who have already paid for their stands will allow us to carry their payments over to 2021.



Please be assured you will not lose any money as this will allow us to ensure the Shows’ future and stands booked for this year will receive guarantees that their booking will remain in place for 2021.



We wish each of you all the best throughout this challenging time and hope to see you all again in 2021 for the next Bridgend County Show.

Bridgend Festivals has run events in Bridgend since 2000 up until 2010 at no cost to the public purse or any charges to local shopkeepers. In 2010 BCBC took over running all street events up until the end of 2019, as there are no plans to run any further event by BCBC we would like to bring our experience and expertise in running events back to Bridgend town by starting a regular outdoor market. once we are self Sustainable, branch out into other family friendly events. All costs will be covered by our organisation. There is something we do need from local people and local shopkeepers, no it’s not your money it’s your support we want to get Bridgend back to being a busy market town and to do that we need the support of local shopkeepers so that we can attract people back into Bridgend Town center which will be good for everyone. Please enjoy some of our pictures of the good old days. And some of our staff will be contacting local Business owners who wish to support our events.
