The best script.

How do you write the best script?
By asking the best questions
and properly listening to the answers.

The best wedding script should be bespoke, personal and it should feel comfortable-it should fit.

Your wedding script should be written by someone who likes you (and who might end up bloody loving you), who cares about you and who is going to love writing your story (especially the ridiculous bits).

Your wedding script should make you feel happy, joyous and loved. Your wedding script should be familiar and it should suit you. Your wedding script should reflect your personalities and your emotions. Because it is yours.

Your wedding script should make your heart glad. It should make you smile.

The best wedding script does not happen by accident.

It is written with heart.
A lot of heart.

Eilidh and Tim met
on their second day of uni
but it wasn’t until a Halloween party
in FOURTH YEAR
that they admitted to each other
how they felt

Tim was dressed as Buzz Lightyear
Eilidh was either Frieda or Agnetha from Abba

And on Saturday
we all headed to a tiny corner of Fife
to get this Glasgow girl
and this boy from New York
totally hitched

Family and friends came from all over the world
to hear Tim and Eilidh’s story
and to see them take a bow
like they were in a Broadway show
when I pronounced them
husband and wife

Today at Cambo House
in Kingbarns for
Tim and Eilidh’s wedding

Just when life couldn’t be anymore fabulous
Cambo has free range pigs to adore

I say “free range” but there is an electric fence
to stop them from wandering into the house

Did I pat these two utter babes?
Yes I did

Yes I did I get a buzz off the fence?
Also yes

I got a big fright and the pigs wandered off
as a tasered human is no where near as brilliant as a human bearing snacks

What did I learn from today?
I need to bring carrots and apples
for the next time

When Heather and Kyle were at school together
they were in different friend groups
and didn’t really even speak

And then years and years later (2018)
they came across each other
and even although Heather’s opening line was
“what is your favourite Disney song?”
they went on a date
to The Lane (Paisley)
and Vienna’s (also Paisley)
and following the incident after Vienna’s
in the alley down from Gilmour Street
Heather wasn’t arrested
so that was excellent

And here they are
eight years later

for skiving off school
and being prepared to be fabulous 💚🤍
