Another little moment of hilarity this week...read if you need a laugh!

So it's Tuesday, we're at Kidzone, it's the 2 year olds class and this week we are playing with the dog puppets. All very lovely, the dogs are always popular, the children (and grown ups to be fair) are doing some nice actions, and I can hear lots of good dog noises.

We start singing the classic song "Bingo" - you've probably heard it - "There was a farmer had a dog, and Bingo was his name-o." And then you spell the letters of Bingo out.

Each verse you then start missing out another letter each time, so I was making a "shh" sign with my finger on my lips for when we were missing out letters. [Please see photo]

Everyone's singing along, all going fine, and then a little girl starts making her way across the room towards me.

She looks like she's on a mission, she's basically marching right towards me and I think I might be in trouble.

She stops in front of me, her brow is furrowed, and she tells me very loudly and very clearly:

"STOP PICKING YOUR NOSE!"

Well, that's me told, isn't it?! I don't think I sang much of the rest of the song because I was laughing too much (and so was everyone else in the class) but I would just like to clarify to any parents/grandparents present that I was not and have never, to my knowledge, picked my nose during class, and I will do my best to maintain this practice going forwards.

Happy weekend, keep singing 😁

It's nearly time for Musical Bumps!

Classes are back this week and if you have a new baby aged from newborn to 1 year, you are very welcome to join in the musical fun!

Music is the absolute best thing you can do with a baby - it supports their development in so many ways, as well as helping bonding and giving them just the right amount of stimulation without being too much.

Musical Bumps baby classes are gentle, calm, fun and friendly and you will learn many songs, rhymes and activities to use with your baby at home.

Fancy giving it a try? New year, new class?!

Here are the options:
Tues 11.45am @ Kidzone Rochester
Weds 9.30am @ Bredhurst Village Hall
Fri 10.40am @ St Justus Rochester

Trial classes are available to book for just £5 for a 40min session. Check out the link below/in the bio and see you soon!
