This week was our 50th Golden Anniversary Open Meeting
It could have been a disaster ,as our booked Demonstrator Vanessa Wellock was at the last minute ,unable to attend
However, Julie Pearson stepped in and saved the day ,not only driving late at night to collect flowers but sorting out and planning what she would do with her title 'Going for Gold' before driving 41/2 hours to us,arriving in good humour and creating a great Demo
She wasn't just a replacement but a true professional with the ability to turn the flowers into an amazing display and we could see how she won the medals at Chelsea she has.
A massive thank you Julie You are a star x
The evening went off well ,with a wonderful buzz and gratitude to Julie

So lovely that Barbara Collins previous Area Chairman and one of our favourite Demonstrators and Gloria Godley current Area Chairman of East of England Nafas were able to join us
The team worked hard and I am sure the Prosecco helped proceedings along
I don't think Denyse will quite get over the size of the final arrangement or have a foyer big enough .It was stunning
