Victory in Europe (VE day) 80th anniversary 8th May 2025
Rolls-Royce helped a lot with ending the war through their building of engines for planes like the iconic Spitfire, tanks and other wheeled vehicles.
The Rolls- Royce with the flag on the bonnet was sold to its first owner Mrs. John Hignett on 5th March 1937.
It spent the war in central London and its fortunate that it survived as the local area was heavily bombed.
I think we can agree that a historic vintage car like this is more interesting than a later copy or replica car because it is what it is.
