1st April - big day here at UG HQ!

Firstly, let us wish a massive happy 10th Anniversary to our Founder , and UG First Lady . Big love to you both 🥰🥰

But something else big also happened 10 years ago today. Nigel signed the original lease on the venue. Yes, on his wedding day, but let's gloss over that, and imagine Julie has forgiven him.

In any case, in 10 years so much has changed, and the placed has had to evolve several times over to survive obstacles such as covid, lockdowns and social distancing, and many other things that impact independent music venues daily.

Where we are now, though, we have so much on the horizon we want to share with you, and so much we would love you to be a part of. Many things about the venue may have changed, but the same passion for supporting grassroots music development has definitely not!

We'll be having a beer to Nigel & Julie tonight, and also to 10 years of the underground. Here's to another ten for both!
