We had our nephew up the other day to help set up some new additions.
2x Giant African millipedes

These creatures are fascinating to watch as they are usually quite active during the day and they eat a huge variety of foods 🐛

Fang is back home after his tinder date, and he’s looking as good as ever 😍 His girlfriend is now looking rather gravid, so we’ll keep you all updated as and when any eggs appear 🤞

🌟 May Highlights! 🌟

As spring comes to an end, we’re reflecting on what a wonderful May we’ve had! Absolutely LOADS of school visits, parties, groups, and events have kept us super busy all month 🐾

Today is our first day off after 18 days straight, which works wonderfully as it’s our anniversary! We’re taking the day to ourselves for a change, so will reply to messages and enquiries tomorrow 🦉🪲🦎

Look at all of those eyes! (and legs!) 🕷️

This is our Dark Earth Tiger tarantula, a species that compensates its terrible attitude with a beautiful jet-black body.
This is still a juvenile at approximately 6cm and doesn’t join our encounters (see above!) but we find it a very rewarding species to keep. Just look at those chelicerae bulge as it holds and envenomates a locust 🫣
