Changing ‘Picasso’ to ‘Pico’ for the foreseeable because he’s got no ‘ASS’😮

On a serious note, Picasso has decided to moult all of his tail feathers at once, in what is his most dramatic moult so far! It’s nothing to be concerned about though, his new ones are growing through but for now he’s a little stumpy 🍑

Spindleshanks has moulted! 🥳

Those of you that have met her recently will have seen her tiny leg that had just begun to grow back. Since yesterday’s moult we can hardly tell which leg it was!
In the 2 years that she’s lived with us she’s grown from the size of a 50p to larger than the palm of our hand (and that’s without her legs extended!) 🕷️

It’s time for another Woodbank Wednesday! 🎊

Given the forecast we will be assessing the temperatures and the comfort of our animals routinely (yes, even the reptiles can get too hot!) as we may have to pack up a little sooner than planned ☀️

That being said, get on down this morning while it’s a little cooler to get hands-on with Echo the gecko, Rosie and Jim the millipedes, Nimbus the owl, and our NEWEST ADDITION (to be revealed soon)!🦎🐛🦉🐍

ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS! with the Walk on the Wild Side - animal encounters Team.

Visitors will have the fantastic opportunity to learn about and interact with various fascinating animals, including reptiles, invertebrates, and birds!

Best of all, it's ALL FREE!
(Please note: there will be a small fee to handle the birds). It's the perfect chance for some amazing photos! 📸
