Apologies for being quiet on here. This year has been crazy busy with my full time job and moving house! I’m still busy working away on events in the background.

Today’s the day!

On Saturday 11th May 2024, Jill Walshaw is holding a charity event, in memory of her late son Matty, who tragically died in a car accident in 2018. This event is supporting men's mental health, encouraging men to talk and not suppress their struggles, or deal with them alone.

The event will take place at the St Margaret's Church Grounds in Horsforth, and all proceeds will go to Leeds Mind and St Margaret's Church funds.

Jill has witnessed trauma, depression and shock in young men, especially following traumatic events and this is her reason for organising this.

The event will have stars making an appearance such as members of the Emerdale cast, former singers from The Voice, a pop up bar and live auction, with prizes from local businesses and more. Myself and Unlimited creations have created a party package, including a voucher to spend in their shop and a party planning service.

Food stalls such as Wing A Ding and Clean-Kitchen. Mike Toblin from Toblins Thai Boxing Gym will be doing a talk and former footballer Sanchez Payne will also be attending in support of the event. Horsforth High School are also involved in the event and Jill is hoping lots of students and their families attend.

This event welcomes anyone to join, to help raise money for such an important cause.

Happy Sunday ☀️

I apologise for being quiet recently. We have been moving house and had a couple of renovations take place. Flooring is going down this week and the furniture is being delivered so we are nearly there!

I am very happy to of donated two prizes to this events live auction, one being a £100 voucher for selected services & another being a voucher for nails. has also donated a back massage!

Good morning ☀️

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter! I am back after a few days off and ready to plan your events 🥂 As wedding and event season is approaching, my diary is starting to fill up so please book in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Good evening!

Jill Walshaw is organising a charity event, which is being sponsored by Manning Stainton Estate Agents, and would like auction prizes and stall holders. If you have a local business and would like to donate a prize, please drop me a message. Anything from gold days, gym vouchers, restaurant vouchers etc.

Details of the event:

Saturday May 11th 2024 2:30pm - 10pm at St Margarets Church grounds Horsforth.

The event is to raise awareness for Mens Mental health and any proceeds will go to Leeds Mind and St Margarets Church funds.

The event is in memory of Jill’s Late Son Matty who died tragically in a car accident. He was 18 years old. It was in 2018. He was very much into his designer clothes and wore a lot of Hugo Boss clothing.

She has witnessed trauma, depression and shock in young Men, especially following traumatic events.
This is the reason for organising this.

Leeds Mind will be heavily involved and 'Andys Man Club'. They will be present during the event.

Labour MP for the area, Stuart Andrew will also be present, giving his support.

Plus Mike Tobin from Tobins Boxing Gym will be there to talk to Men about Mental health and how talking and taking up sport can help. He does a lot for Mental health in Men.

Sanchez Payne, former professional footballer, now an influencer and huge Advocate for Mens Mental health will be one of the guest speakers.

Emmerdale star James Hooton will be providing his pop up bar with canopy and seating. The Emmerdale Band (cast members) will be doing a musical set and also Cole Lawton LC (formerly from 'The Voice') will be singing.

There will be an Auction and Food Stalls including Wing a Ding and Racheals clean kitchen.

Positive Inking run by tattooist, Christo, will be there holding a stall to talk about his designs.

Also, if anyone who maybe interested in having a stall please get in touch. There will be no charge for stalls. You can set up at the venue from 1pm.

This is a non ticket event and is £6 on the gate.
