What an incredible day at the Royal Oak for the HouseWorkz event! ☀️💛

We absolutely loved creating this full venue set-up, bringing all the sunshine vibes with a bright yellow and smiley-face balloon theme throughout the venue. From the stage styling with vibrant balloon columns, to the eye-catching front entrance balloon arches, and freestanding balloon columns in the bar areas, every detail helped create the perfect atmosphere for a beautiful sunny day.

The event was a huge success and the energy from start to finish was amazing!

Styling the HouseWorkz event this weekend was SO much fun! 💛✨

We absolutely loved creating these displays and worked incredibly hard to bring the vision to life. The stage columns were actually the tallest display we’ve ever created since starting Decobloom Boutique, such a proud moment for us!

The entrance arch at the front of the pub looked amazing, especially with the smiley face balloons in the swirling pattern. It worked perfectly with the theme of the event, and the bright yellow stood out beautifully throughout the entire day. ☀️🎈

Now… let’s talk about the heat 😅
32 degrees was definitely a challenge! I did warn the event owners that I couldn’t promise the balloons would survive the extreme temperatures, as heat can cause them to expand and pop. Unfortunately, that did happen throughout the day, and honestly, it was painful watching some of the displays slowly lose their shape after all the hard work that went into them.

Even so, I was still incredibly proud of what we created, and most importantly, the event was a huge success! The atmosphere was amazing, and everyone had the best time, which is what it’s all about. 💛

Our beautiful log slices and floral vases were the perfect match for the reception room, creating a warm, romantic feel that complemented the venue beautifully. For the ceremony, we styled a stunning floral arch with petals delicately lining the aisle, such a simple touch, yet one with the biggest impact 🌸
