Prom season has officially begun, and last night was the first Prom 2026 for Royal Latin School.
This year felt especially special for me because I wasn’t just there as the owner of Rock My Dress – I was there as a mum too.
Watching my daughter Skye get ready and head off for her prom was one of those moments that makes you stop and wonder where the years have gone. Seeing her looking so happy, confident and excited for the evening made me incredibly proud.
I was also lucky enough to be at the venue to watch everyone arrive, and it was lovely to see so many young people enjoying such a special milestone. There were smiles everywhere.
What struck me most wasn’t just how beautiful everyone looked (and they really did!) – it was the confidence. The way they carried themselves, the joy on their faces and those genuine smiles that come from feeling comfortable in your own skin.
That has always been the heart of what we do at Rock My Dress. A dress is never just a dress – it’s about helping someone feel like the very best version of themselves and those young people nailed it!
To all the Royal Latin students who celebrated last night, you looked absolutely amazing.
And to my beautiful Skye – I hope you had the most magical night and made memories you’ll treasure forever. ✨💕
