We’re celebrating the legendary Tim Curry with one of his most iconic performances – THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW on the big screen at The Royalty!

Friday 11th September – 7.30pm

Tim Curry is unforgettable as the outrageous Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the 1975 cult musical comedy-horror that became a worldwide phenomenon.

Also starring Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick, there really is only one way to watch Rocky Horror properly – in a beautiful old cinema, with a crowd!

Dressing up is VERY much encouraged

9 TO 5 SCREENING + DOLLY DISCO!
Grab your passes immediately - this is gonna be a busy one!

Join us for our tribute the legend Dolly Parton - a big-screen showing of 9 to 5, followed by our “Dolly Disco” until midnight.
And there couldn’t be a more fitting date for it - it’s Worldwide Dolly Day!

We’ll start the evening with the much-loved comedy 9 to 5, starring Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, before turning the auditorium into a Dolly-inspired party for the rest of the night.

The auditorium will be laid out with a mixture of cinema seats, tables and chairs, plus a dancefloor area. The main bar in the stalls will be open throughout the film, and the music will continue until midnight.

THE DOLLY DISCO
Expect loads of Dolly, alongside country bangers, strong independent women and big attitude, disco and camp classics, huge singalongs and music inspired by Dolly and sharing her spirit - country - disco - pop - soul - 70s and 80s classics - modern country-pop - and enormous dancefloor anthems.

SUPPORTING ST MARY’S HOSPICE
We’ll also be collecting for St Mary’s Hospice on the night, so please bring along a little extra if you’re able to donate.

💜 Together at the Movies – This Tuesday! 🎬

St Mary's Hospice Community Hub - Together at the Movies Community Connections Hub is back this Tuesday for its third month

Created to bring people together, reduce isolation and help local people discover the support, services and activities available in their community, our hub is growing each month. 💜

This month, we’ll be joined by ArtWorks Art4All CIC for a free needle-felting workshop and Ruth Corney for a free weaving workshop. 🧶✨

We’ll also have local community organisations and services joining us, giving you the chance to find out more about what’s available locally.

We’re huge Dolly Parton fans here at The Royalty. A true legend, an absolute queen and, by all accounts, an all-round genuinely good person whose music, films, humour and generosity have brought joy to millions.

We’d love to honour her incredible life and legacy with a special Dolly Parton celebration, potentially including a big-screen showing of the classic 9 to 5 and maybe a Dolly Disco!
