What a fantastic way for our BCP Council supported interns to kick start their journey into the world of work!

We were delighted to welcome magician Arto for a hands-on workshop that combined fun with valuable lessons in perseverance and practice. Arto didn’t just perform—he taught our interns new skills, helping them build confidence and perform for each other.💚

As interns prepare for their first workplace rotations, this was a timely reminder that employability is about more than knowledge—it’s about resilience, repetition, and the courage to try again.

I enjoyed joining the Wessex Magic Association at Weldmar Hospicecare’s Summer Fete in Dorchester.🃏✨

I spent the afternoon doing walk-around close-up magic, moving from group to group, sharing tricks, and seeing those brilliant reactions that make it all worthwhile. 💫

It was amazing to be part of a day that raised over £26,500 to support the incredible work Weldmar do. 🙌🏻

✨Magic, Mindset & Confidence Building! ✨

Last week, I had the pleasure of running a magic workshop 🎩 with Discovery’s supported interns at BCP Council.

Instead of simply performing, I got everyone involved, teaching some of my favourite tricks 🃏 and showing how the same skills that make magic possible (practice, patience, and perseverance) can also build confidence 💪🏻 in everyday life and future work.

The highlight for me was seeing the group cheer each other on 🎉, celebrate the small wins 🙌🏻, and realise that persistence really does pay off.
