Runner profile time! Here's David Vines, who's certainly earning his loyalty points (more on that to follow in the very near future) by booking up multiple events, including all 4 events in the 𝗦𝗼𝗕𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀. David's on the long road back from injury & surgery BUT is still hoping to walk the course @ 𝐖i𝐠h𝐭 𝐋i𝐧e𝐬 - hip-hop hats off to him for determination. If you spot David, give him a special cheer - more power to his elbow! As a Smiths fan, David's also in for a treat later in 2026 @ our 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙫𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 event, the UK's premier Smiths/Morrissey-themed running event. Hey boys, hey girls! Where will the '𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗝' trophy end up on Sunday??🏅🏆 In case you missed it, one participant at each of our events will be awarded the '𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗝' accolade for a particular acheivement, performance or attribute. It's not simply a question of running the fastest, furthest or longest. Race Directors will be making the award of '𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗝' on the day for a particular eye-catching performance or contribution 😊🙋🏾🫂🧠🏃🏼‍♀️

Meet your Marshals 🦺⭐ These are the friendly faces you will see at 𝗪𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 on Sunday ☺️ They will keep you fed & watered at our 𝙍𝙪𝙣 𝘿𝙈𝘾 station, count your laps & give you all the help & encouragement you need to reach your goal 🏃🏃‍♀️ Do give them a huge 'thank you' / high five / cheer when you see them; we couldn't do it without them. It's medal Monday, so here's your prize for completing our premier bestie event, 𝗠𝘆 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲, which takes place on the promenade @ Southbourne, Bournemouth on 15.02.26. It's a variation on a theme - all 4 events in the SoBo series are uniquely coloured; complete all 4 & get the set.
