“What on earth are we supposed to write on the invitation?”

Honestly, I get asked this ALL the time.

There are traditional ways of wording a wedding invitation, but there really isn’t one set way you have to do it.

Formal, relaxed, hosted by parents, hosted by yourselves… we’ll make the wording fit your wedding.

And if you’re staring at a blank page thinking you have absolutely no idea what to write, don’t panic.

I’ll help with that too. 🤍

If you’ve been following for a while but haven’t enquired because you’re not really sure how it all works… this one’s for you.

I try to make the whole process as easy as possible.

You tell me about your wedding and the stationery you’re looking for, and I’ll help with everything else.

We’ll chat through designs, colours, materials and all the little finishing touches before I create your proofs.

Nothing goes to print until you’re happy.

Then I get to do my favourite bit and actually bring everything we’ve created to life.

Wedding planning can feel overwhelming enough without stationery adding to it. It’s supposed to be one of the fun bits! 🤍

A favourite photo, made into a save the date you’ll want to keep forever 🤍

For Sangeeta and Sonny, I printed their photo in black and white and layered it with a translucent overlay, so you can still see them through the wording. Finished with a little gold eyelet and black ribbon, it feels so personal to them.

I love that their guests got a little glimpse of the two of them before the formal invitation even arrived.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that completely change an invitation.

A beautiful textured card, a pop of foil, an envelope liner that ties into your colour scheme or a little personalised monogram…

You definitely don’t need to add everything.

I actually think choosing one or two really beautiful finishing touches often has much more impact.

And this is the fun part of the design process — working out where those details will make the biggest difference without adding things just for the sake of it.
