DORSET WED FEST - WHAT IS IT?

It’s a festival style wedding fair 🍻
Sunday 6th April 2025

Dorset Wed Fest was started back in 2013 as we felt there was a need for a less corporate approach to wedding fairs, so Dorset Wed Fest was created!

It is designed to be a relaxing event that everyone enjoys rather than endures!

You can chat to wedding suppliers in an informal setting, grab a bite to eat (try before you book a caterer!) and a drink, listen to some music and go back and ask suppliers more questions.

Take your time, relax, pick the brains of wedding suppliers - they are there to help, not to hard sell!

We get many many requests for our On the Day Coordination service.

People love to be able to plan their own wedding but don’t want to be taking care of everything on the day itself!

Included in our On the Day package is;

C O N T R A C T S

I do go on about contracts quite a lot but only because I hear time and time again of couples who have paid thousands of pounds upfront to a wedding supplier but haven’t seen a contract.

Here’s why it’s important that you read and sign a contract before paying a deposit;

✔️ All of the details are in writing, including the date, venue, services/products that are being supplied and the amount you’re paying

✔️ You can read the Ts & Cs and ensure you’re happy with them before parting with any money

✔️ There can be no miscommunication about what has been agreed

✔️ You are aware of all policies in place and where you stand, should you need to cancel/postpone

We use an electronic esignature system that couples can use to sign and return, without having to print off and post. It stores all the contracts but we also save each one to the couples file on the computer for ease of access.
