One more sleep until we return to our favourite Award Winning local campsite, Teddy's Farm in Boldre/Lymington. Open for just 28 days each year, you can gift yourself time to concentrate on nothing but the New Forest nature and experience laid-back camping on Teddy's family's working sheep farm. We have served weekend treat food to campers and camped there a number of times now, facilities are great: hot showers, the best morning coffee, weekend bar from Merry Mule, the Mobile Bar, weekend foodie treats from ourselves. There is a great mix of friendly guests too; cycling groups, solo travellers, families and couples. We love being there and know from speaking to their guests they are happy to as return year after year.
Bonus for visitors is you can keep the eco / back to nature theme, leave the car at the campsite and it is a short walk to join the New Forest Tour Bus. Sarah says to take a look at the huge tour map here: https://www.morebus.co.uk/about-NFT and imagine the haven of wildlife you will see from the open top. There really is so much to see, you don't have to venture very far at all to feel immersed at the scale of this National Park.
We will be at the campsite at weekends to treat the campers and any Burbs Kitchen friends who want to rock up and say Hello and we will be sure to devour one or several glasses of red wine, maybe a G&T by the camp fire after service :)

Friday evenings: we will be making Stone Baked Pizzas (1st, 8th and 15th August).
Saturday mornings: we will be bringing the campers our famous Breakfast Burritos, perfect for those with an active day in the Forest. (2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd August) or those who want a lie in, as serving til 12pm.
Sunday lunch-times: we will see you back at the campsite for a lovely Sunday Roast Dinner (3rd, 10th, 17th August).
MUSIC:
Teddy is hosting another special occasion night on Friday 22nd August, featuring an Acoustic Set from the amazing Austin Brown and we will have a Lamb Roast straight from the Farm. Come on down. Very popular weekend. Pre-bookings on the Lamb is highly recommended, get in touch. We will run out as you will probably want seconds.

For anyone reading this, that isn't local to the New Forest, or if you are local and looking for summer inspiration with the family, Sarah has shared below a list of places to visit that are all close to Teddy's Farm. There are also a number of events happening in the area in August to keep you busy including several carnivals, village shows, local firework displays, the Ellingham Show, Beaulieu Motor Museum Supercar Weekend and the New Forest Fairy Festival.
Sharing with you some of our favourites spots close to Teddy’s Farm in Lymington:
* Mottisfont House and Riverside Garden - National Trust, near Romsey. Bimble around the gardens and house.
* Lymington - Very pretty Georgian Market Town and access to a lovely walk (The Solent Way). Great place for foodies.
* Milford on Sea / Key Haven home to Hurst castle an artillery fortress, built by King Henry VIII. Ferry across or walk over spit to castle.
* Buckler's Hard, 18th Century Pretty Ship building Village on the Banks the Beaulieu River.
* Village - 2 mile walk to it from Bucklers Hard, lots of things to do including Watersports, Motor Museum, Palace House or the Abbey Ruins.
* Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway
for Christchurch Priory, cinema screenings or this weekend it is Stompin on the Quomps at the Quay.
Quay for a beach bimble and an ice-cream. A number of beach huts available to rent at .
